And what about the metacortex login? We are only searching for metadex but all the possibility we try on metadex could be use for metacortex... We should start watching about that login also...

I think the metacortechs login requires the Employee Id number. We have a few of these but not marcus ormonds... yet

I've tried eamiled David Regenhardt ( the guy in charge of those things ) in regards to getting marcus's Client Id, but no such luck.

Another angle is that marcus may not be as dumb as he seems on his voicemail. Its possible when he said press pound now that he was logging into metacortechs ?

I've been attempting many, many passwords ( as you can see in earlier threads of this msg ).. from the obvious right through to the complex.. ie lennon#64..
I think the main things we have to work with are :

D.O.B, Beatles, and labyrinth.. possibly a combination of two.
I've found a great deal in relation to mlo and john lennon. Not much in relation to labyrinth ( but it could be King Milos 2 etc ). Anything else and we wouldve been given a better clue in that kind of direction.

i'm with chacko this is so frustrating. I've tried so many different combos. I can't stop thinking about it.

I finally got around to reading the irc2 transcripts. Is it possible that marcus is <aurelius>64? It seems a little too coincedental.

With that as inspiration I started thinking of roman numerals. I've punched in LXIV and MCMXXXIX as well as using them as prefixes and suffixes. No luck as of yet (natch).

Maybe this will spark someone else.

Don't bother with metacortex login yet, it's not activated yet.

I haven't seen this mentioned yet, so I'll just point this out:

April 22, 1939 = 4/22/1939

1+9+3+9 = 22

2+2 = 4

Maybe we need to check out the same rules with 64 to find the password.

Other thoughs I had.
I think I saw someone mention the significance of the number 7 in a pic on PaintOver. 7 in the Bible signifies purity completeness, and has special significance in medieval labyrinths.

22 appears also, in MLO's phone number, so all that led to check connections with 22 and labyrinths.

First thing I thought of was "Catch 22" by Joseph Heller but that didn't turn up anything.

After that I found a very interesting connection:
http://www.recoveredscience.com/LabySolomon1.htm

The article discusses whether the labyrinth was used to model the Temple Mount in Jerusalem after the heavens, and mentions many figures. Just look at all the connections in here.

"..the corners of its original outer wall which measured 500 by 500 cubit square..."

"...the blue grid divides the total 500 x 500 cubit square into the 8 x 8 [=64] fields..."

"The required batter of two cubit per side would have made the footprint of the ramp 32 cubit long to its top... Matching this dimension may have been important to the number mystics of the time because in the Jewish tradition, 32 was the number of "mystical paths of wisdom" with which God had created the world, meaning the first ten numbers [6+4] and the 22 letters of the Hebrew alphabet."

An interesting analogy that is relevant to the Matrix:
"The puzzle resolves itself when you consider that the mythological role of the Labyrinth was to serve as a prison. The now best known example is the legendary one in Crete which was built to confine and hide the Minotaur."

Maybe someone can deduce something out of this.

This is interesting. I mentiontioned Crowley and the Thoth spread in the Sylvia Files regarding what seems to be a photo of a tarot deck. Well, Crowley's Liber LXIV is called Liber Israfel ( formerly Liber Anubis) and is descibed as An Invocation of Thoth.

I'm encouraged. You know, I never cared much for Crowley, and now I'm beginning to regret that.

Here's the text, if anyone cares to look it over.

Liber LXIV

I'm also clinging to the idea that I Ching is relevant to all this. Look at this 8 x 8 grid of the I Ching hexagrams. Notice the column titles. Fire, mountain, lake, and water are things we've encountered repeatedly throughout the game. I believe thunder was referenced in the Sylvia files.

Now, go to the fire column and find Wei Chi (hexagram 64) ... it looks like this:

---
- -
---
- -
---
- -

Click on it and read the description. Food for thought. Hope it's helpful.

what about VMs?

Something I have read very little about is people trying to hack the voicemail system... If MLO is so unfamiliar with the system (as evidenced by his message), maybe he's using a very insecure password. For example, on my old company's voicemail system, the default password was the extension number. Also, it could be some version of his birthday. OR, you could have to spell something on the keypad...
Anyway, just think of the information that could be there. People were supposed to call the HR guy for passwords or something, right? Well, if you hacked into Ormond's voicemail, you might hear a message from Dave that is giving a metacortechs password or something...

I would try this stuff myself, but I can't have a bunch of crazy phone numbers showing up on the phone bill... my wife would be none too pleased.... so HEY you guys help me out here... ANYONE tried hacking the different people's voicemail boxes? Esp MLO's?

I tried his extension, that didn't work. Not sure how to fit his birthday into a 4 digit passcode, but 2003 (the year he turns 64 - lame, i know) didn't work either.

Well, another problem here is that I don't KNOW that it's a 4-digit code... my current company is 5. could be 6, i guess. (unless the system says to enter 4 digit code or something). And, hey, there can only be 10000 4 digit combinations, right? SOMEONE START TYPING ON YOUR PHONE! Razz
Also, to fit 4 digits could be "0422", "0439"...

Who knows... just speculation... like everything else...

when calling Marcus, after pressing # and then "4", the mailbox asks for the K-7 security code. It seems to be a four-digit number, but this might a wrong assumption (why is it called K-7?)

I tried with 1939, 1111, but nothing

BTW, the mailbox story with MLO works for all the others (i.e. by pressing # during the recording of a message in the phone mailboxes, you can try to hack the message system) - but you need their K-7 security code again Confused

It doesn't seem to take anything over four digits. Just tried 0422, 0439, and 2204... nothing.
