lennon's bday

Just delete me if I'm repeating someone but-
Marcus Ormond and John Lennon are born on the exact same day and year as each other. Along with the "when I'm sixty-four" don't you think this could be a clue to the password?

imdb.com has john lennon's birthday as 10/09/1940

I reversed "A Day In The Life". It's mostly gibberish, although one might think that "sugar baby" is sung. Nonetheless, it's not working as a password.
Also not working are the obvious words, like "lucy", "sky", "diamonds", "kite", "sixty", "four", "pepper" and so on, the words from the songs of "Sgt. Pepper".
I also tried "sugarplumfairy", a word which John is mumbling in the intro of a song.

So... still no clue about the password....

Some of the info I've found on the song "When I'm sixty-four": It was written by Paul at the age of 16 for some musical he was writing. It was included on the Sgt. Peppers Album(recorded 1966) in honor of his father who turned 64 in 1966. His father named James McCartney had a band called Jim Mac Jazz Band. His father also hated John Lennon. He thought he was a bad influence. John Lennon didn't like the song and said he would never have written such garbage. The only singer in the song is Paul McCartney. It was recorded to mimic a 1930's type style, that's why it sounds kinda whiney. And it was re-released on the Yellow Submarine album years later.

Trivia--April 22nd is also Earth Day, which I tried as a password.

Edit

Sgt. Peppers was also a play on the words "Salt and Pepper" which I also tried as a password. saltandpepper, saltnpepper, salt&pepper.

more minotaur/labyrinth

Hi - kind of new to this but I find it pretty interesting...

people were excited to find the Paranormal Research Journal update with Dr . Leo Kane's article that they may have missed the last article in the update... RE another minotaur/laberinth reference...

The Minotaur in Fact and Fiction

J. Terrence Pendt, Julia Harper

This report examines evidence of the existence of a real-life minotaur, a hideously deformed child of King Minos 2. Recently discovered records indicate that Minos ordered the child locked away from sight in an underground chamber. Our hypothesis concludes that the child possibly suffered from elephantiasis and had horn-like growths near both ears, thus leading to the legend of a bull-headed man. A deformed partial skeleton unearthed in a subterranean chamber in Crete, the location of the legendary labyrinth, lends credence to this hypothesis.

Well, if John Lennon was born 10/09/1940, couldn't the "Congrats" pic that was on PaintOver.net be a tribute to him, since it was posted on Oct 9th? Maybe the trail to follow is Lennons?

Good idea, 9999.
I tried "Winston" (second name of John Lennon), "yoko" and "yokoono" as passwords. Didn't work.
(And I surely would have killed, if they'd used Yoko Ono as a password...) Wink

I know that a number of people have tried all the combinations of MLO's birthday but I'm thinking that there is an obvious link to his birthday somehow.

I mean the song is "When I'm Sixty-Four". It seems to be directly asking:

When is MLO 64? April 22, 2003

Does anyone know of anything (in-game probably) that happened on 4/22/2003? The only thing I've located so far was the odd news item from 4/21/2003 on the metacortechs site. It stated that they were still searching
for a CEO. The Steve Walsh annoucement comes 4 months later: 8/22/03

Ideas?

I checked Little-Boxes for that date but came up with nothing.

That search engine on the site of Little-Boxes would be worth a thread alone... I'm sure there's something hidden, too. Just take a look at what one might search...

When I'm 64 and a quote from BraveNew World.

Brave new world is a quote from the "Tempest" (Miranda - V.i.)
The quote from the book is from a chapter where they talk about sending people to islands. The Tempest has an island.

What does When I'm 64 have to do with islands or Shakespeare?
