[SPEC] What happened to James Avery in Europe?

If this has been discussed earlier, my apologies.

James Avery announced his retirement on january 5th 2003. On january 4th 2002 he was sent to Europe, to work with an undescribed project. According to Beth's info in LittleBoxes, James was during the last months prior to his retirement quite changed.

In the LittleBoxes archives, the number of eventualities seem to have increased rapidly after january 2003. Could it be that James discovered he had opened a Pandoras Box, and thus wanted to get out of the project and company?

Many of the abnormal events seem to have occured in central or lower Europe: Zurich, Spain, France and Monte Carlo, where James worked with his project.

Could Katherine Cunningham be on to this? According to Beth's latest email to Phillip, she took more interest in the abnormal events than in Beth's sneakiness. Is she suspecting that James, or rather the company, was up to something fishy?

Anyone?

for some reason i keep getting the feeling that avery was unplugged...he just fell off the face of the earth - but he's probably at least middle aged, and too old to be freed...oh well, my mind hurts from looking for mlo's password...

i also think that katherine cunningham has a feeling something is going on, thus the inquiries on the paranormal... i guess we'll find out!

Some interesting points (I'd been thinking about this so much in the context of what I know from the Matrix movies that I hadn't even noticed that the paranormal events were localized around MetaCortex regional offices)...

Except, re-read Beth's 'work' page on little-boxes and bear in mind that 'the man she's been working under' means Marcus Ormond, not James Avery. JA's the CEO who was more of a mentor than a boss, and MO is the man she's been working directly under for however long. Remember, JA doesn't work there anymore; hasn't for a few months.

I still think JA is the missing man.

Correctomundo, doc. My mistake.

I do, however, still think that Avery has something to do with the high occurence of paranormal events in Europe!

I still believe its a result of the failure to "Reload" the matrix.

IMO, Averys time in Zurich has a great deal to do with the strange occurances of paranormal events in Europe. I don't know if our dear guest has any more info than us, but I'm sure that we, as the storyline continues, will be able to understand the relevance of Averys project in Zurich and his retirement.

Thanks for the ... help(?) guest...

C'mon, play nice. If you know something we don't, share it. That's how the game is played, after all. Enough with the cloak and dagger already.
