6:30 in SF on a week day is generally tough for me. But not impossible.

Just getting out of work by 6:30 is tough for me. But I think with at least a few days notice I can perform a miracle or two.

Looking at the photo Markus posted (see this thread ) I assume that Theo did the same with Markus what Kai tries to do with James: Forcing him to do a Personal Labyrinth to see the truth.

How can it be possible to change a Agonethetai into a CA and a CA into a Agonethetai using the same method? What has Markus seen that made him changing his mind? What do we expect James to see?

Another important question: what evenings (6:30PM) are you guys free and willing to come out to SF?

I am available most evenings at 6:30, so you guys figure it out and let me know. I wonder if a pleading voice will help to convince James to walk his personal labyrinth? Wink

mytho

As it happens, I'm moving to SF for the summer THIS SUNDAY, so I just emailed Kai and raised my hand as a mytho. I'll be available any weekday next week... sounds fun!

Coordinating the James mission
email me!

Okay, so Kai emailed me back "...Now we just need at least 5 more... can you help me coordinate with the others?"

So, I'm going to take that as a directive to action. Let's get this thing organized. If you're in SF and up for the mission send an email to my gmail account (lakilgour at) with:

* Your Strength
* Your availability at 6 PM (to be ready early) each weekday night this coming week (5/19 to 5/23), and just in case for the week following as well...

Once I find a date that matches strengths and availabilities, I'll notify whoever qualifies, and we can get the location of James' workplace from Kai, and figure out what needs to be done.

Sound good?

PS Momonga's list, with me on it:

Chariton: hmrpita
Mythopeia: L'el (available all week) Cineball,
DavFlamerock (available F 23, M26, Th 29, F30)
Sofia: RangerD (available Mon 19th, Wed 21st), Ariock
Sophrosune: momonga

Do Kai or JMG count as Dikaiosune? Razz

You probably know this already, but if you go back to the e-mail that describes exactly what Kai has in mind, you'll see he is going to confront and distract Theo until the 6 (or more) of you are ready to do your thing...so no, Kai can't be the only Dikaiosune involved.

I don't think it has to be limited to only six, right? Kai will probably want as much help as possible!

So is this going down at around 6:30 sometime next week?

Yep:

We need six volunteers minimum for this mission. More could be useful.

I also just sent another message to Kai asking how much earlier before 6:30 he thought we should be prepared.

Side-Mission to Inform the Intervention...

Here is a related mission from Kai, perhaps for all those who won't be in San Francisco to help directly.

When I contacted him about the chat with Eli Hunt, I also mentioned Markus' recent photo upload - and the the fear that maybe forced personal labyrinths don't work. Here is his reply:

I'm concerned about the post from Markus. Why was he not able to remember? The others have been able to remember things when they did personal labyrinths. Can you all email some of the others to see what they did and then can one of your German friends email him to figure out EXACTLY what they did with him, then we can compare what went on so that we don't make the same mistake? It would be horrible if we kidnapped him, tipped our hand, and then it didn't work. I think he'd probably disappear and we wouldn't get a chance like this again!

SWEET.

DAMMIT WHY DOES SCHOOL HAVE TO BE ENDING WITH A BANG D:

If we're doing it next week, Friday's my only possibility. Otherwise, if we wait an additional week, then the following Monday (the 26 I think) and that Thursday-Friday are good. I'm still not sure if I'll be around the first week of June. Should probably decide :/

As for being there at 6:30, you can pretty much count on me being there.

And man, SF's Mytho-heavy. I generally don't consider myself a Thumos... but I suppose I could give it a shot. I'm reckless enough Very Happy

I assumed Markus will not answer emails anymore, so I have not written him since the Theo message on his blog.
Now I have written a mail to him... Let's see if I get a reply.

[Update] I have now read that Markus has escaped. Just a few minutes after I have written him, that I am also thinking to join Theo. I even attached Theo's mission mail.
If I would have read the escaping message I would have send a totally different mail . Mad

So perhaps I will not receive the answer we are looking for, because Markus may not trust me anymore Sad

How can we deny the possibility that Marcus pretends to be in our side?

Thumos, I think, are bad liars. We are not like Chariton-- we rush headlong into something without preparation. I know for a fact that I am a terrible liar (face to face, anyway Razz)

If Kai's willing to sponsor me to come to San Fran, I'll do it, but other than that there's no way I can.
How many Thumos are on here, anyway? Me and Bilbo, but who else?

According to Markus's and Kai's last mails, the plot against James might not work the way it was originally intended.

See http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25603 for the latest news from Markus and Kai.
