Well considering both e-mail and AIM aren't safe anymore, would it be safe to try to communicate with the character using only codes (Ciphers and the like)? Providence knows how to crack them, can we be sure that the doctor does too?

Ok this prooves he too can crack the codes.

 		Gonzo: Given JT's conversation, I assume the answer is yes, he can crack the ciphers.

JT: Well, he didnt answer when I asked if it was Dr. Green, so for all we know it was Green's identical twin brother Dave. Razz

 		Seems like there are four things that stand out to me.

1. The good DR. points out that providence will be reformed.(could mean anything)

2. That he/she will allow her to have her remaining freedom.

3. The DR. mentions the stupid "song" in quotation.

4. The DR. also points out that providence uses the same password for everything.. (Thats definitely a hint.)

Maybe it's nothing but, possible song title password?
Something to do with Freedom?

it sounds like you are asking why they replaced the 1's and 0's with A's and B's

the reason is because we were working under the idea that it was binary and so put it all in 1's and 0's

someone else thought it may be baconian (and in retrospect we were receiving hints that it was) baconian requires a's and b's instead of 0's and 1's



LOL, no, I was just trying to pick the famous MrToasty's brain for code-breaking wisdom. Since we were both using the same tool for decoding and it will do Bacon from 1's and 0's, there was no reason to transcribe the message if you copied Madhouse's transcription. Thought maybe he was looking for some second layer of coding and I wanted to learn how. (But I did learn about "Replace All", very nice, ty MrToasty.)

As to Bacon requires A's and B's, it doesn't. It just requires that the two sets be different. So use italics and plain, odd and even, + and -, red and blue, or apples and bananas. Now many tools that decode Bacon will only use A and B or a and b, however the tool at http://rumkin.com/tools/cipher/ will use those and 1's and 0's.

Onward for more code breaking fun...

 		NEWS: It was necessary for the PM to email those of us who'de already mailed with Providence to state they have a family emergency and updates will be sporadic at best. We should resume next week Wedmesday.

Y'all, I found this quite thoughtful. If the consensus is to post the email here,no worries. Just say what you want. OK?

I do notice a "Song" on her Myspace. It is by "Floggi". Her music interests say Flogging Molly...possible one and the same.
"No more Paddy." is the song name.
