Remember when she said to use Morpheus? Maybe when engaging in chats with her we should ask for the password before talking about anything significant. If she says "Morpheus" we'll know it's her and not Dr. Green.

And I love how one of her interests is Emperor Norton. He's an interesting fellow. I also thought it was interesting that her picture is digitally created, ya' know, by a computer.

i think anyone who communicates with her...either via email OR im should be careful to not give away more information until we are certain it is her. above all, NO ONE should mention the word morpheus at all. let providence bring it up.

if dr. green mentions morpheus then the password has been compromised anyway and is no good.

Emperor Norton also appears in Gaiman's Sandman. Between her interests in Gaiman, Flogging Molly, Firefly etc, I seriously hope the doc doesn't mindwipe her -- she's pretty darn cool.

so i havent seen dollhouse, but from a brief look at imdb.com, its about erasing peoples memory and giving them a new memory?

that seems like it might be happening to our dear Providence. Her changing mood about the Dr's (that ended up not really changing). Her changing opinion of the guy from the mall whose name suddenly escapes me.

perhaps she is a member of the dollhouse?

Here's a basic summary of Dollhouse: The people in the Dollhouse are considered "blank slates" that can have personalities and memories implanted. The people that run the Dollhouse provide a service for those with the money to pay. Everyone has wants. It's not necessarily sexual, though there are those too. Perhaps a loser in high school wants the experience of hanging out with a hot girl in the in crowd. A person from the Dollhouse would be selected, the proper personality and memories would be implanted, and this person would then act like a typical high school in crowd girl. It should be noted that they do not become a specific person, just the archetype. After each of these things, there is a memory wipe to eradicate the personality and memories. In their "default state" they're very childlike.

EDIT: No one has seen it yet. It's scheduled for a 2009 release.
