 		[NEAT] Atsumi
After reading the USGX transcript of the radio dialogue that took place during, I noticed that the two people speaking were 4707 (or is it 4787), and the second is Atsumi. Well, after searching for a little while, I found this:

It's a website that deals mostly with cameras and electronical communication equipment. Seeing as how the "Lost" writers are always making quick references to cultural items, I thought that this might be an inside joke. My main concern is... has anybody looked into this two names yet?[/url]

 		x_x could be an inside joke maybe

then again it could fit, seeing as theres a camera and communication in the usgx clues

 		It's as likely a clever tongue in cheek joke as Hud's name is in the film. (In case you didn't know, HUD or Heads Up Display is used to put instrument and other info in your direct line of sight - and thus used to refer to the first person view used in games. Hence, the cameraman character ended up being Hud.)

You could have saved a few folks the pain of translation by using the English language version of the site:

Didn't know there was an english language version. Thanks for posting it.

In other news, what does the 4707 (or whatever those #s are) that Atsumi's conversation is with, what significance are those numbers? Any ideas? Surely they can't just be random.

no idea, really. it wouldn't seem like it is just an employee's code or anything like that... it is odd to denote the name as 4707. most likely, just to propagate more speculations, though. more mysterious to have a number instead of a name, you know?

oh, cloverfield viral and your damned numbers Very Happy i'm still curious to see if the different 11-digit number on the dvd sticker will ever turn out to be anything!

Generally thought to be the designation of the sub Atsumi was communicating with, I beleive. But we have no way of being sure.
