Man, it just doesn't pay to go to bed early. Received it as well, Agent 45.

Fish family is most likely Fishjp.

Wow, in this thread seems a great company to get together! Smile

Btw, there is a Japanese Word in the picture:

上帝試驗

as far as I know, this is old writing for

上帝試験

上帝 means "Shagti, God, Lord, Creator, the Supreme Being"

試験 means "examination, test, study"

i.e. "a test of God"
I think about Job and his test, but since it`s Japanese (or Chinese), it could have some Buddhistic context.

I found this terminus in Japanese also here:
http://koueki.net/narita/033/228/narita322749.html
"戦争は上帝の試験" by ワイヤット,H.

and - since an original is English -
"God's Test By War" by H.Wyatt

Agent 88 here, after receiving a lovely trout that she'll frame on her wall Laughing

I presume someone's tried decamouflaging/destegging?

The symbols by the satellite

Look like the Tree of Life from the Kaballah. The language on it does look like Hebrew but I cannot make any of it out. I was never a part of the other ARG's so I don't know if this has any meaning for anyone but I thought I would throw that out to see if it helped.

Just popping by here with a little input:

In Japanese/Chinese, "上帝" does mean "God", but only in the Christian sense. Not so much for Buddhism/Shinto. At least, I don't know of anyone here using "上帝" outside of the Christian context.

More accurately, "戦争は上帝の試験" would mean "War is a test by God" or "War is God's test". Either one goes since they both mean the same. Very Happy

Thank you for input, crucifixation! Smile

Interesting notation about Christian God meaning.

You`re right with the translation, but I think it was a little bit various translation into Japanese, since the book by H.Wyatt has a title
"God's Test By War".

I got this too, which is strange, as I've only just resurfaced here on unfiction and only posted in Providence's Horizon and Cloverfield...way back when. Razz

My subject line was "0 1"

Exactly, it is "Sefiroth",

Quote:
The Tree of Life an etching by Athanasius Kircher, published in his Œdipus Ægypticus in 1652. This has since become the most common variant of the Tree used in Hermetic Qabalah.

I`m looking for the original image still yet.

So we have Japanese and Dutch stuff, mostly?

If nothing else, this proves there are a lot of skills available on uF. But so far it doesn't lead anywhere...

Agent #s etc., if anyone is still confused:
Sender = 0 1 (that's 0space1)
Subject=It matters
Agent # = It's by your addy. You probably have to click 'show details' to see all the names and your agent #.

ETA: @ Nighthawk... O hell no.

Found out a couple of things:
1. in the logo of VOC there is also a letter A which represents Amsterdam chamber of VOC
2. the oldest share in the world was issued by the VOC
http://www.oldest-share.com/
3. on the lanterns from Yasaka Shrine are the names of their sponsors,
mainly Kyoto businesses. The shrine is dedicated to Susa-no-o, god of prosperity and good health.
http://www.sacred-destinations.com/japan/kyoto-yasaka-shrine.htm
I don't know if all of this means anything but I decided to give it a go Very Happy

And, BTW, the above was addressed *only* to me. Guess they heard my complaints... Wink

Still a 900K image, though. Laughing
