Found the image below in my cache. From Tianlong. Hippos? Maybe implies that the all red arrow (Egypt) is under water? Didn't the Aswan dam flood the Valley of the Kings?

Just looked and I have it as well, although I haven't looked hard enough to see which page it came from. I'm not sure if the hippos are any less of a red herring than they were in Con08 - two hippo images thrown in there for no reason.

How did you guys find that? I know what cache files are, kind of, but I looked to retrieve the ones you had and can't find them. I feel like I am not technologically minded enough for this. Note to future PM's; please don't make your puzzles only accessible to people who know how to really search inside the mind of their own computer. It's frustrating, and yes, I will be taking my own advice in future!

Sometimes the PM simply renames a jpg to a swf file, as in this case for me. Look for the file 4521369614.swf. If you find it, you can just rename it back to a jpg.

It's like I said during PO/LMF - somewhere the PM is getting wasted with his friends and going "And, and, and then? We can have a puzzle about monkeys! Nothing to do with the story, just to see what they DO. It'll be hilarious!"

Yeah, with this PM I sort of routinely dump .swf files into irfanview which likes to rename stuff to the correct extension (asks first). Pretty sure it came off the front page, but it's hard to tell cause the site seems to want to load everything as soon as you enter. And if you're going to have a signature, you could do worse than hippos.

EDIT2: Back now. Folk Blues, who is posting on Polina's wall, is an ex-boyfriend. I got the impression she wasn't too happy that he tracked her down.
They are definitely looking for a stone in Mexico.
There are people digging in Greece right now.
From the updated map arrows I assume there are also people digging in Chile(?) right now.
That's about all I got, though I don't quite get how we make a map from the artifacts?

EDIT: OK, my cover is blown, I think. She told me that there had been explosions in Shanghai & Beijing, and to "always trust the BBC". Clearly there have been no such explosions. She said she had friends there.
She has unfriended her ex, and wrote a note giving us his website (this is all on Facebook, BTW)
She also mentioned that her friend in Japan never sent her the cicadas he was going to, and that she thought they had almost found the "thing" they are looking for.
Think that was everything. I still want her to tell me stuff, but if I tell her there weren't any explosions, will she still talk to me?

EDIT2: Oh yeah, she mentioned that the ex used to have long hair, but he turned violent. She thought she had a photo of him with long hair, but then said she didn't and would have to go home.
