I know JJ he has to do what he loves and everything, but I don't believe that dropping a possible Cloverfield franchise is such a good idea. He's got a goldmine staring him in the face and the would just... quit??? I don't get it.

Maybe this is all just part of a giant smoke screen. Maybe we'll see another Cloverfield movie in the (hopefully near) future. Maybe... Oh, I don't know! Why tease us with sequel rumors if it's all going down the crapper!!!

O, n BTW, for all of you who were still wondering as to whether or not the ROAR is still on 1-18-08, it is. I was just on the site, and i went to look at the pics again, then i decided to post something, and there it was. Almost made me crap myself. No matter how many times that happens, it scares the shit out of me every damn time,lol.


OK. Im editing this post, because i just read that BD article with JJ saying that hes not too interested in making a sequel, he wants to do something new, and then it hit me. When you think about Godzilla, and all the fucking movies they have made about him, Is ANY of those movies a sequel from any previous Godzilla movie? NO. Now, ill admit, the concept for each movie is relatively the same, but no, not a sequel. Now, take what JJ said, and interpret it however you like, but just picture this: Another entirely NEW Cloverfield movie. New Storyline, New Setting, Country, Maybe even enemies...There are alot of different directions they could take that. In that blurb, JJ didnt say that he didnt wanna do another Cloverfield movie, he said he wasnt really excited about doing a follow up. they wanna do something NEW. Hell, maybe theyll even finally give him a name for christs sake!! (I still like O.B.U.M - One Big Ugly Motherfucker, which is allegedly what the military named him after the incident. I cant remember where i heard it, but i did damnit. Im not makin it up ) N sorry for the Dub-Post Eucher, my bad brothaman
