Re: Just a test!

I wonder if anybody recognized the labyrinth above was drawn by a real Trackstick ....

Today we're going to run the first human labyrinth in Japan. I am so excited and yesterday I took a practice of drawing a labyrinth on the grass. It took an hour.

Yes, he did. City-sized labyrinth was itself a great fun!

I am in the way home from the human labyrinth in Tokyo. I'll post a report later.

He Did? Why? Tokyo is not on the list, isn't it?

@unagi - That looks cool! What mode of transportation did you use to do the trackstick test? Is it by car or you actually run through the course?

Report: Tokyo Human Labyrinth Training (Sunday, June 1)

I apologize I haven't been able to write a report of the Tokyo labyrinth (Sunday, June 1st) ... I'm on a business trip, and now there remain a lot to read in uF now .... But:

The first human labyrinth in Japan was a great success! Please see:
GasKetz (Dikaiosune)'s report in Noriko's Forum (translation) - videos and photos
Japanese Wiki - videos and more photos
Ariadne's blog - videos

I would like to add:
- Fifteen people participated, including street performer, cosplayer, magician and some from very far pars of Japan
- At the assembly point, before the first participants arrived, there was a poster saying "Nedetrui Paralelaj Universoj! Nitrogen" (my translation: Don't destroy parallel universes!) (Nitrogen is one of the most active in Noriko's forum, and he has declared he is on Theo's side). I had brought a sort of duct tape, following jasper's advice, but we couldn't kidnap Theo's alley unfortunately, because he/she didn't appear during the training.
- Yoyogi Park is always full of performers, so our labyrinth team looked very natural among them. A member of the team, Huma, wrote he realized the true meaning of Chapter 4 of the Codex, "hiding our labyrinths in the clear view of those non-initiated."
- I love this photo .... It's beautiful, isn't it?
- Tatoo seals and strength seals were so nice!
- We finished the training event about 5pm.

To be continued ...

By the way, I took tatoo seals, strength seals and a trackstick. Remembering Noriko's meeting with people in San Francisco, I asked Noriko to send us tatoo seals before Tokyo labyrinth, and Kai sent me the seals. I had discussed with Noriko that Tokyo will need a trackstick, so I was suggested to receive one together with the seals. I wanted Kai for a delivery arriving before the Tokyo labyrinth. Later James's atlas revealed 24 omphcities (Note: Japan islands aren't in his atlas), and Tokyo isn't in Eli's list of 27 omphcities, but Chapter 23 and the omphaputer say "at least 27". Ariadne also wrote "We're still waiting to uncover more". I believe that Tokyo will join the Earth-sized omphalos.

It's by bicycle. The labyrinth area is about 900 x 900 m.

Tokyo 6AM Labyrinth for Worldwide Synchronization Festival
Early birds, join us!

Date: June 8, Sunday very early morning
Place: Yoyogi Park (Tokyo, Japan).
Dikaiosune: DDincrement

Our new Dikaiosune of Team Tokyo decided to join the worldwide synchronization labyrinth festival on June 7-8!
In Japan, they'll run at 6 AM !!! (Are we crazy?)

For details, please see http://forums.findthelostring.com/thread/1807

(I've wondered long where to post this, so temporally I posted this here.
Any suggestions? I couldn't find a thread specialized in the synchronization labyrinth festival)

Hi unagi!

I watched your video and it is impressive!

Please post your event here.

As you can see, we have a few cities that have posted events for June 7 (June 8 for you). I cannot believe you are going to do one at 6 AM! New Zealand isn't even trying for 9 AM, which now sounds late by comparison. Smile

I am so happy you are joining the synchronization!

While you are yawning at 6 am, think of Austin, where it will be 4 pm and probably 100 degree weather (38 C) We hope to be in the worldwide labyrinth synchronization too.

(what's early about 9 am, NZ? Very Happy )

Thanks, Pita! When Noriko went to California, I almost gave up running a labyrinth in Japan, but now a lot of Japanese have joined us!

I've just posted this. Noriko had already posted one, but her group is separate from Ariadne's. So I once sent it to Ariadne's group, but it's in Japanese, so now get it back to Noriko's group and posted an English version into Ariadne's group.

In fact, I can't go there this time -- I live very far from Tokyo. I am worrying about how many people will join. But DDincrement says he hears some people are joining.

You seem more crazy than we .... I've realized the synchronizing is very challenging itself.
