 		I still don't see where these "100" numbers are coming from. That picture shows no numbers, but again I have no clue what I'm doing.

If there are numbers that go above 100, maybe they represent something else like the crossword did.

BTW, did we ever get to use Teddy & clippers from that?

Korkster, this is what has been discovered so far. It's believed that the numbers above 100 and/or the numbers beside the red circles lead to an IP address for the US Securities and Exchange Commission. http://162.138.185.34/ You can read about it in this thread. http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=25837

It's believed that the warning from RK's blog http://h0ll0wm0ves.blogspot.com/ about "Beware of empty offers" means that Holomove has not even filed and therefore their IPO is bogus. Others can probably explain this better than I can. But read the thread above cause that's all we know at this point.

red circles (low) can only be from 0 to 9
triangles (moderate) can only be 10 to 19
squares (high) can only be from 20 to 100

the numbers we have are all on red circles and are 162, 138, 185, 34 which create the IP address to the SEC http://162.138.185.34

 		but what's the point of a bogus Stock offering? money? I mean, i'm pretty sure that charade wouldn't last long.

 		The other thing to note about it being a "pump-and-dump" scam is that for that to be the case, they need to issue stock. And for that to be the case, they need to file with the SEC. So it can't be a pump-and-dump where they have no intention of actually filing, because they need to file to get stock. They could be cheating investors, but I'd think investors would be wary about jumping on the bandwagon? I dunno.

If someone can fool investors into believing there will be an IPO soon, they might be able to get some of these investors to buy stock off them early, hoping they will make a large profit when the IPO happens and the stock price jumps (e.g. see http://www.bizjournals.com/triangle/stories/2005/01/10/daily13.html for a real world example of such a scam)

IMHO, the insiders at Holomove believe the technology is actually seriously flawed so they are trying to sell a significant portion of their stock in the company to make some money off what they think is a dead duck.

As an interesting aside, if Nate has really solved the big problem and he keeps that info to himself, maybe he'll try to raise the capital to try to buy a load of stock himself before the fake IPO, fix the major flaw, and end up as the major stakeholder in a company that actually does have a viable techonology.

Not only that... I wonder if they're serious enough about the scam that Nathan and George just shortened their lives by 30 years. I'm worried about Nathan- our primary contact may soon be RK... provided that RK != GP.
