I didnt make a note of my dirtections but I can say that while I found the key I never unlocked a room, I did however get to the files at the end. In fact I didnt even know I had missed something till I read coffee's post.

I did a map too, with pencil & paper Razz And all the "rooms" are aligned, so it's actually quite easy to do. But it's different in one point to Pancito's one: second bottom pic from the right, I had to go south to get to the locked door, and then west to go to the pic that is connected directly west to that second bottom pic from the right.

Well, this is what I wrote to Jaana after completing the tunnels (ON MY OWN....i feel so proud Razz)
Quote:
Dear Jaana,
I have made my way through the tunnels (which were surprisingly easy to me)...but did not reach Haven. It gave me a 404 error message and two files-- one that looks like a diary entry from the home of Jacob and Annette Atreva, and another that looks like a record of the plane crash of Patrick Monaghan.
The thing that interests me about this is that the diary entry mentions you-- I understand your name to be Janice? It says you are a 'willing participant', so 'young, so innocent'. I also understand that Patrick Monaghan was the fiancee of Jessica Valenti, a fellow LBS member.
Was this on purpose?
Why are you showing us these? Is it part of the test?
--Alice

I hate having to pretend innocence while I already know that this was NOT part of the test....

Apparently it got someone's interest.

From the news page on the Lightbringer Society website:

Technical difficulties

We have been made aware of some technical difficulties in your last trial; several of you have pointed out the end result which was not supposed to happen.

We are still trying to find out the cause of the problem, as well as the source of the unauthorized information disclosure.

The trials will be termporarily put on hold pending the investigation by CorpSec and our network administrators.

If you have any information regarding this, or can assist our investigation in any way, please let us know so we may get to the bottom of this.

Thank you for your cooperation.

- Jaana

Jaana asks for any info on the Tunnels hacking incident and I was thinking of tipping her off to the messages and images from Chiaro Oscuros...

Yes or no?

I actually tried that, although I wasnt sure if she knew who it was or not. But, it didnt really go anywhere...

My email:
Quote:
Regarding the technical difficulties you mentioned in your last news post, I thought I'd mention something that you may not have noticed. In the source code of http://www.bluegenics.com/Tunnels/Result/ is the following:

Even though a coin has two sides, it is still the same coin.

The light invites all with open arms, yet the dark is apprehensive in their ignorance.

Only when both paths converge will the truth unfold.

- C.O.

Could it be that this C.O. has defaced the website? And could that be "Chiaro Oscuros", who has been sending us information?

Her response:
Quote:
What do you mean "sending us information"? Who is this "Chiaro" person?

- Jaana

My reply:
Quote:
I really don't know who it is, but Chairo has been sending me chat logs and cryptic messages for a while now. It is obviously someone who has either hacked into your system, or is a member of your team. The last message was a chat log that included you:

Jaana@LB005: Well, they're done with the Numbers Test.
<snip>

That was sent a few hours ago, and I haven't heard anything.

Hmm good to know Zor... I think I'll give it a go also...

See if we get anything out of it.

No actually I think I'll alert Chiaro Oscuros that Jaana is on to him/her.

Or maybe both... don't want to get kicked off the light side though Wink

By the way, since the pictures on the tunnel's result page are numbered, I thought I'd try to find other pictures with different numbers. So, I'm slowly going through the numbers to see what's out there. I don't really expect to find anything, but it's a slow day, so what the heck. I'm up to 5900, and I haven't found anything except at 710 and 1215 - the obvious ones. I doubt I'll go all the way up to 99999 - at the slow rate I'm going (I dont want to kill their servers) that'd take like 6 days, and there probably isn't anything there anyways.

5900??? Yikes. Save yourself the headache, Zor: If there is something else there, it's probably not supposed to be found yet. Best leave it be and focus your efforts elsewhere.
