Postage would be that high for something mailed from another country. The PM could have either paid to have it postmarked from another country, or actually shipped overseas to be mailed from there.

Would it be in dollars if it was sent from another country, though? I mean, if I was to send something overseas, it would be paid for in pounds sterling.
Speaking of being in the UK, if we ever need a visit to London as part of this, I volunteer (yes even for you lighties).

I should post address details as well, actually, in case anything international does come of this. Why I didn't initially is beyond me...

@Schardin>> It's not IG. Trust me. It does provide a bit of background on LHoD because he used the book for a class he taught in 2002. This is not at all surprising. It won both the Hugo and Nebula when it was published and has all kinds of room for post-modern readings. If I was teaching sci-fi, It'd be on my short list.
If anyone has any doubts about whether or not this is Darklight, put them to rest. I got the trailhead too, and this is the only game I've given my physical address to.
The $2.02 is a re-mailing fee. How do I know this?
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Nighthawk was asking how to do this in the puppetmasters help forum.
Now, can we try to figure the password please?

Which implies to me that we should be able to get this from what we have.
I have tried Twinkie(s) , Light(bringer(s)), (Ahura) Mazda, Prometheus, Oppenheimer, and a couple other things I've forgotten.
Oak Ridge may be significant in that it was the location where the U-235 for FatMan and LittleBoy was extracted.

I don't think Schardin meant the link posted was IG, that's what I posted already a page back...I think what he was pointing to was a mention of 2.02 and if that might connect in some way to the postage - but no, it's not likely.
The links I'd put up awhile ago about the book was to point to the confirmed link for the source of the quote hidden in the source of the sign up page...and the one above about the Yin Yang makes the connective reference to 'the light is the left hand of darkness,' to the Lightbringer Society pathway in.
I checked through the whole thread on the original sign up and only one person even mentioned the source for the quote - seemed everyone was so focused on the pastry tangent that an actual clue was sailed over. All I was doing was trying to *raise it to the light* and if the clue need not hide in the darkness, then it's most certainly a matter that all we need to know to obtain the password is there on that page...so referencing a few links on that book where the quote came from might sound some bells on what might be the password.
Then again if the PM skunked people over the flash cheat, maybe the login is more a pacifier and may be a herring all the way around.

All over the world there are people, who call themselves freemasons and believe they are spreading the light, but they are actually very much afraid of the light. This film tells about what kind of light and how the Emissaries of Jahbulon spread it around themselves and how it affects us. The film is an exciting excursion to some of the most powerful Masonic lodges in the United States and in Europe.

I'm a mason. There is a ton of stuff out there that isn't inflamitory. I'm not trying to be mean or anything, this kind of stuff just hurts.
And I can tell you if this is what the ARG is about I'm not going to be able to play...
My brother's a 2nd level Mason in Australia and I've studied them from an insiders perspective for over thirteen years now. I know what is and isn't, the truth...
But believe it or not there's a lot going on within the Freemasonary prospectus that even some 'high level' Masons do not know about

OK, I've signed up as a HoHo. I just hope that I'm not too late.
I've been following the threads and have tried a bunch of passwords regarding the Irish mythos regarding the lightbringers. I think that the address of Westminster Abbey clearly points in this direction. I'm going to keep looking along these lines.

Ah! I got some dark side schwag in the mail! It's a button! I'll take a picture and upload it in a couple of minutes.
[EDIT] We have a new code. I think there's a chance the text in the button is the password for the Lightbringer site. The text around says "Bring Forth The Darkness"

Owelz, still gonna be a fun time. (:
