No, that's the Death Walks the Streets guys. They got an envelope but have nothing to do with True Blood.

Unsolicited Mailings
⊆ May 24th, 2008 by DominickSavini | ˜ No Comments »

A number of our members have reported receiving an unsolicited mass-mailing consisting of a black envelope bearing a red wax seal. While this is a concern for us, we can assure you that all databases containing sensitive information pertaining to our members are secure and have not been compromised.

The notes contained in these letters are not to be associated in any way with IBVM, Union Local 666, or any of our international branches. Furthermore, the Japanese website known as Chishio is not a Union-operated or affiliated website.

Regards,

Dominick Savini, Managing Director - IBVM New Marshall

You're getting your viral marketing sites mixed up. Those are for DWTS.
I'm guessing they hope that by including the black letter stuff, they might get equal attention payed.

As of now the only confirmed viral sites are Revenant Ones and Blood Copy.

Yeah, I followed it on to myspace and started to notice all the NPCs user names started with "dwts_".

Edit: And reread your reply to Shane.

Very sorry, guys.

Seems I've caused a lot of confusion Confused

Disregard my incoherent ramblings.

Indeed. We've had the Union site since '06 and the New Marshall site since last summer (along with some other sites no one knows about yet). They don't really come into play for us until our comic book gets released next month.

I don't know much about the books that inspired "True Blood", but the international angle they've taken with the viral thing is kind of running parallel to us which might be leading to some confusion.

All in good fun, though!
