When I emailed back I asked for clarification saying that all hearts weep and all fire burns. I have yet to hear back, but I was thinking, could this possibly be a wild goose chase to keep us busy until everything is ship shape?? I tried Googling different variations of the terms, and nothing I thought was relevant came up.

I can see burning fire representing passion and motivation, but weeping heart? Could it be one among us who has received (and hasn't connected a dot yet) or may still receive the clue relevant to that? Or maybe he wants us to find the whiney one and the pissed off one among us for the clue?

A couple of us who signed up with our addresses didn't get a package, so our hearts are weeping a little. Or is that just me? I wanted a shiny button!

I received the e-mail though, and read just what you did from it: No passwords yet, be patient, and that there's something else to find yet. I think it's plausible that there's been someone else with a clue that hasn't spoken up yet, but I'm not saying we should just sit back entirely (like that could actually happen, heh) as too many things have fallen apart from people waiting on everyone else.

Also, it's good to see you're okay, Karensa. Last I heard from you was... when you were moving, of all things! Back in September! I hope everything went well, there. But this is a bit off-topic...

But I can't think of anything more on-topic to say. Back off to searching and solving for me, I think.

Thanks ;- yep the move went well...moved to central Texas. Wooh huh.

So maybe the lost ones are who we should be seeking, the ones who didn't get anything...I don't know, obviously, how the mailings were handled but not everyone submitted an address. Of those who did, it was probably sporadic. Maybe there are other mailings out there to come - as in, some were mailed at different times for the later people who registered? (unless as Lunsford pointed out re: the blog, those were just gratuity mailings and not part of the game? But if so, why lead to websites with logins?)

I get it we're rushing out the door to get going and he's not quite ready just yet...I think the confusion lies in which part is "ready" to pick apart and which part is not ready yet.

On a related OT note, I couldn't help wonder if the PM logs all those password attempts to see what kinda crap we've attempted. If so, he's probably not ready because he's still laughing his ass off!

And edit...

That'd probably be me then over the thread lockdown business, that did piss me off pretty bad! And had a little pissy fit over it. Mr. Green

I signed up pretty early on, but alas, no button! Crying or Very sad
I also received the email and the first thing I thougth of regarding the "heart that weeps and the fire that burns" was emotions.
Heart that weeps=Mourning
Fire that burns=Anger
I know this probably doesn't help, but it's a thought. Very Happy

@everyone I see the discussion has heated up but I would have to believe that so far the game has yet to truly start. I think he is just giving something cryptic to keep us off the topic of pastrys. lol

Also, I believe the "cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war" is from Shakespear's The Tragedy of Julius Ceaser

The Lightbringer thread was just recently unlocked since we are separate factions, so I think it's safe to start using it again.

Cool, it is unlocked again. I won't be reading the Lightbringers thread. I hope I won't end up regretting this decision. Mad

Edit: Everyone, hug a MOD near you! *glomps random individual*

I also got the email. Don't see anything different in it from the other ones.
Has anyone tried adding chiaro.oscurosSPLATgmail.com to Google Talk? I'm unable to currently or I would try.

Where is Karensa??? s/he should be happy the admins unlocked the thread.. and maybe not feel like the arguments that took place weren't for nothing.

At the risk of proving me wrong, I "yay'd" on the other thread! Mr. Green Then I decided to leave well enough alone!
