The file seek.enf can be decoded by use of the program, and it displays an image with the Lightbringer script. Using the key from the other thread, the top deciphers to SEEK OUT THE LIGHT.

Unfortunately, I can't make out what the bottom is, though I believe it's a series of numbers. I'll leave that to someone who's better at this stuff, though.

thanks for that!
quick question: where did you find this "seek.enf" file?

[UPDATE]

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Using the decryption program and the level 4 key, Seek.enf decrypts to an image (see attached). Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a way to save a decrypted file, so the image is taken from a screen capture. Anyway, the image has some more Lightbringer text, which translates to the following:

seek out the light

1* 01 1* 01 0* ** ** 1* 10 1* **

ETA: Bottom row is numbers. Fixed! Thanks ancalime.

I'm pretty sure the bottom string is numbers, not letters.
As much as I can tell:

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

1A 01 1B 01 0C BD BE 1B 10 1A B0, with a-e being unknowns
We know 2, 3, and 4, and it doesn't seem to use those at all...so that narrows it down a tiny bit. Very Happy

At Bluegenics client section under downloads. Or, you can pull it off the wiki. (Yarr, click me sig).

Since we know 2, 3 and 4, that means the remainder must be 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9. We have 5 unknown numbers, so all 5 must be used. That leaves us with only 5x4x3x2x1 = 120 combinations...

ETA: Wait, do we know 4? I only see 0-3 in the key at the start of the Lightbringer thread... If we don't know 4, we get 720 combinations!

Then there's the small question of what it does...
And no, we don't got 4

Yeah, my bad. Embarassed

EDIT: after looking at the alphabet for a while and squinting*, I believe J is a downward-opening curve with two vertical dots, and Q is a downward-opening diamond with one dot.

Alas, this does nothing for figuring out the numbers and I can't figure out how the 2 symbols left (if you toss K and W just because they don't fit) correspond to X and Z.

* breaking them up into a-f, g-m, n-s, and t-z and noticing each group has 1 single-dot circle, 1 single-dot diamond, 2 2-dot circles, and 2 3-dot circles.

While this isn't quite relevant to figuring out the code, the bluegen decrypting program can take any .bmp or .jpg image and try to decode it. And while it doesn't find anything on all of the images on the Bluegenics site, it still ends up looking kind of neat.

I'm not gonna lie, I starred at that for about 2 minutes trying to decide if it is a Magic Eye 3D image or not.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It's not.

could it be the passcode for the Umbrati site?

"To be one with the dark, one must have the key"

Those encryption keys might lead us to it. just a thought

If you are using the code key on the fist page of the Lightbringer thread there is an error in it. Please note the what the 2 looks like in the address

http://s239.photobucket.com/albums/ff305/OPWAzraith/?action=view&current=IMG_0528.jpg

The Lightbringer Society
20 Deans Yard
London SW1P 3PA

It changes the output so that we have 2's
1?0112010?2?2?12101?20

Edited because it was wrong.

The attached file contains all possible combinations of the numbers, given what we know. 360 total combinations in all with non-repeating variables.

ETA: Key value was wrong. Fixed, grab new list.

Just received this email-

Quote:
A minor revision (v1.12a) has been posted on the BlueGen Encryptor website ( http://crypt.bluegenics.com/ ).

This update addresses the issue of the Base64 encryption/decryption dialog not working (it would open the Morse dialog instead).

This is not a critical update, and you are not required to upgrade. No other changes have been made to the application.

Thank you for your cooperation.
