I asked that directly of Eli when I submitted my design to him - wondering the same thing, Pita. Unfortunately, I've had the same level of response from him as everyone else - nil. Confused

I'll add to the nice comments by congratulating you on a fantastic, HUGE labyrinth design - brilliant! Very Happy

Thank you! Smile

That Eli is a crafty fellow. His name should be Sly.

I must admit I am really enjoying this part of the game. I am a map editor and that may be one of the reasons why I like it so much.

I can try my hand at Toronto, though whatever I come up with would have to be fixed up by a native to make it feasible.

You are? Well, that explains everything! You really do seem to have a good eye for this.

I live in the east end of Toronto (the municipality formerly known as Scarborough before we became amalgamated with 4 other municipalities--including Toronto proper--to become what is now called Toronto), so I'll gladly try out anything you come up with...only if you have time to do so, of course Smile.

So, I was about to email Mr. Hunt today to submit my labyrinth design, but before I did, lo and behold, I received an email from him! I presume he perused Ariadne's forum and has checked out everyone's city labyrinth designs. Here is the email, to wit:

Dear Ms. Pita,

I am most impressed by your bold and ambitious design of an 11-circuit
labyrinth for San Francisco.

As you may know, I have been advising city captains on the design of
their labyrinth and confirming omph strength calculations.

I believe your calculation of 32.2 is correct, and your design is
brilliant and beautiful.

Best of luck with this mission.

Sincerely yours,

Eli Hunt

Smile

Also, this implicitly answers the question about how to calculate the stadia. You use with the width of the labyrinth (NOT corner to corner).

What if the labyrinth doesn't have any real "corners" because it's designed as a circle (more or less)?

Well, easier, just take the diameter of your labyrinth
