Old Cyan.com Cipher
Found a cipher while browsing old "secret" sites on Cyan.com

While reading the Penny Arcade forums, I stumbled across a link to http://cho.cyan.com which contains an imagemap of one of the first screens of Riven. If you click on the spider, it takes you to http://cho.cyan.com/arachnid/spyder.html. From here, there are two obvious links (http://cho.cyan.com/arachnid/mme.html) and (http://cho.cyan.com/arachnid/riveneggs.html) as well as one non-obvious link (http://cho.cyan.com/arachnid/flyDroppings.html). In the source code of each of these pages besides the initial one, at the very bottom is a comment containing a series of dots and spaces in three lines as well as a fragment of the phrase "google.com". If you put the dots in order, you get the following:
Code:
.    .      .    .  .      .  .       .     .                  .     .
                                                 .  .          .
               .     .                    .              .
.      .                   .      .             .   .    .
      .         .    .        .            .              .     .
             .                                  .                    .
   .           .              .         .                 .       .
             .             .                    .     .              .
.           .      .             .           .                 .
            .                             .        .   .    .
                      .     .    .            .                    .
      .           .           .

Now, these pages are pretty old, but I can't find any reference to this (what I'm assuming is a) cipher or its solution. I lurked here during the Haunted Apiary days so I know there're people here with a way better grasp of cryptanalysis than me. Thought you all might like to help me solve this so I can get it off my mind and go back to work.

If you overlay all 4 components, you get the following:
Code:
.. .  ..    .. .  .  .     .. ..  .    .. .  .  .  ..  . .. .   . .   .
      .      .  .    ..    .. .  .         .  . ..  . .   .    ..  . .
.     .     .. .  .. .        .  .        .  .  .        .     .     .

You can take it from there. Wink

Ah, nice!

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Braille... "map your gps coordinates" I take it they want you to use googlemaps, but any particular coordinates?

EDIT:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
It only seems to work if you either offset the first line of the first set one dot to the right or offset the other three one dot to the left. Huh.

EDIT 2:
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Ah ha! That means I screwed up in my copy/pasting from the source Wink

Googling about, I found a site which lists other pages in this set, and spoils their solutions:
