[CITY LABYRINTH] Philadelphia

I measured the length of the Philadelphia lab. It is about 20 miles. So walking is really not an option.
But what was more problematic: The lab design of this old map does not fit very well to the modern Philadelphia in some parts. Especially the north part of the labyrinth seems somewhat wrong in my layout Sad

Perhaps we have to modify the labyrinth a little bit, so that it matches the actual city street design.

Double Post:

I tried now to exactly build the old map labyrinth in Google map. There are some parts in the north, where in modern Philadelphia are not the needed streets anymore.
And... there are so many "one ways". It would be easier to make the labyrinth from the outside to the center (is this also possible?)

Is here someone from Philadelphia who can check the difficult parts?

If I would be near Philadelphia I would immediatelly contact Kai to get one of those fancy tracksticks, even though "running" this huge labyrinth could take several hours or even days Wink

Have also set up a textual route description, which could be found on the wiki

the one-way street thing is what makes me think it has to be done on foot. 20 miles is quite a hike, but I am having more trouble imagining this ritual could work with an automobile than I am having picturing people going the 20 miles.

Maybe we could do a relay. Passing the trackstick instead of passing the Olympic torch. *tries to remember what the flare thing was about...*

What a brilliant idea!
But this would mean that we need 2 or more people in Philadelphia and we have none at the moment.

Perhaps something for the San Francisco City Labyrinth.
