 microsoft
holomov/ms

Interesting about MS...I also saw that someplace as well...hmmm....seems odd to have a corporate giant involved with this...oh well.

Yes, or MSDN at least. I don't quite see why it needs promoting, but it's been a fun ARG, at least!

Gah... I was hoping for Fringe... Backstory is always cool....

Wait... so why WERE there links on that Fox site?
I hope it wasn't simple MS advertising...

Damn you Microsoft! You keep tricking me and my Macbook into inadvertantly supporting you!

I can't even open the trailer in Quicktime Crying or Very sad

ms
fringe

the ms thing was posted on fringe-tv.com...does anyone have any thoughts regarding holomov and fringe? the answer is probably yes.Should I start a new post? The guy named "stuart" in the linked you tube video to the hand gave me some info regarding the hand poster..some of its on the fringe blog and I got an e-mail directly from him... in a nut shell here's the message

In response to your query, all the photos the leaf (in the center is a golden triangle), the apple (displays a golden spiral), and the hand are all related to the Fibonacci number series but in a rather camouflaged manner. Generally when one thinks of Fibonacci numbers one thinks of how rabbits breed assuming none of them die then you have the series; but, in math there are zillions of relationships that spring from this fundamental mathematical truth such as branching of trees, the golden spiral and the golden rectangle. The 3rd image of the hand is a bit of a mystery but if one notes a sequence of Fibonacci numbers is found on the right of the hand near the knuckles 1,1,2,3,5,8,13 (and pleas note that is a 6 fingered hand like mine in the bottom frame.....it's possible the relationship of the knuckles correlates to the golden triangle or golden ratio 1:1.6?? just a guess .
Sorry trying to finish my web site (already have 2,000 hours invested).

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fibonacci_number
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_TnH8NQxu_A

I'm not sure how to go about handling this...I'm new at this I apologize
the leaf equation uses 2 instead of 1

Same blurb and links they posted on http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/events/teched/cc510240.aspx

Probably be able to find more of it this weekend around other MS sites. I'm surprised this ARG wasn't picked up by more traditional MS forums (look how NeoWin jumped into Vanishing Point). Did any other bloggers for MS products and other coders get the rabbithole package? Or did they just not know what to do with it?

Is this game coming to a conclusion or is it just beginning?

The beginning I think too... Our mysterious TC was the first to have his info on a Microsoft product. Oh and the RK Map was Microsoft too... I think they tried to draw in a wide range of people by keeping us guessing and using third party stuff to run it.
