Just read the blog. I now remember why I never went to ComicCon...wall to wall ppl all dressed like video game characters and storm troopers....I am as geeky as the next guy but this is too much for even me.

Man, I'm a little disappointed that there's not more detail coming back yet--and nothing yet on RuckusGuy's Bluetooth tip, either! I mean, who am I to complain, right? But still, I was expecting some mad reporting going on over the Interwebs.

the DHARMA booth

Spoiler (Rollover to View):

an awesome video showing the booth and someone taking the test. We can only hear his answers, though. We can guess at one of the questions, which is "Who is your constant?" which is an obvious allusion to The Constant episode of the last season.

They're all moons of Jupiter so far, too.

Also, thanks, Sam G, for the links.

Edited: FWIW, the fact that these names represent both the moons of Jupiter and Zeus's ex-lovers is not exactly coincidental. Three of the four moons mentioned belong to a group of satellites called the Galilean moons. Here's Wikipedia on the Galilean group:

Quote:
The Galilean moons are the four moons of Jupiter discovered by Galileo Galilei. They are the largest of the many moons of Jupiter and derive their names from the lovers of Zeus (the Greek equivalent of the Roman god Jupiter): Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto....

I've also tried to find any Bluetooth devices at or near the booth, but no go (so far). I'm guessing it won't work until I'm actually IN the booth, so we'll see.

He also said to make sure you've got your Bluetooth on and visible – he's rigged up a little something.

You did it wrong, i think. You must have a Bluetooth-enabled device that's turned on and "visable", which i think means is open to any stray communication.

Excellent! It will be interesting to see which connotation this ultimately entails...mythology, astrology, or astronomy, and if it is utilized in the show's plot.

Does the head of Hanso/Dharma fancy himself a diety a la Zeus? Will the Dharma testers be using the zodiac to vet their prospective employees? Or does the secret to moving the island lie within the constellations? Does the force that powers the island come from Jupiter??? LOL!!

I am really excited about this one....wish I was just a couple of hundred miles south of here.....

Hey guys! Tapdawg here. As we know from the secret message in the email from before, there is a bluetooth connection found at the Dharma Initiative booth. Well the connection can be found at the booth, but everyone is having difficulties connecting to the bluetooth device. From what I could tell, most people were asked for a passcode. When I asked the ladies at the booth what the passcode was they did not know and said that we needed to turn off the security settings on our phones. I came back a few minutes later with my laptop to discover that it's not security settings at all, but rather the bluetooth connection was not configured properly. I left in the afternoon today so I was unable to find out if the problem was fixed; however, I told the Dharma employees about it and they said they'd fix it tonight. So if you were able to connect to the bluetooth connection let me know in the comments below, otherwise I'll check again tomorrow to see if they fixed the connection.

Some bad news there. I hope that they fix it.....

There's a response posted to that entry now, one that I think may have a good suggestion:

Jeff wrote:
If the Dharma actors are supposed to remain in character, you might've not been supposed to tell them about the bluetooth. That was part of RuckusGuy's instructions for hacking into something of Dharma's...

As for the password, I would've tried "March has 32 days" which was in the source code of that one OGR email.

Yeah I agree. Seems out of character.
