Do you think?

Do you think everyone passes the test? I guess so, because they want a big audience for this campaign. I wanna get a cool job, it says each test will get you closer to the job position you will receive. Maybe Dr. Chang needs an assistant! Very Happy

Me too!!!!

Maybe they are getting overloaded with people trying to take the test all at the same time.

We'll get through, we gotta just keep trying.

Edit: Blank Blue screen for me as well. No starburst though.

After a year of lurking...

Finally... I've been watching since page 3 of the thread trying my best to WAIT until start day. Phew...

"Official volunteer assessment commences soon", so I suppose the leaderboard and progress areas will be updated tomorrow. Didn't receive an email response from registration, but I didn't expect to.

The auto-filled "card number" caught my eye, but the main curiosity was the foreign dialogue in the background. Kind of interested in that, but don't have the energy to record it right now...

Welcome to Dharma Wants You.

Dharma Wants You is an online experience connected to the ABC TV show LOST.

The story follows a fictitious scientific community from LOST, The Dharma Initiative, as it attempts to recruit and assess volunteers for a secret research project.

By completing an 'Eligibility Test' and registering on dharmawantsyou.com audience members enroll as volunteer recruits for the Dharma Initiative.

Each week audience members will have the opportunity to complete a test that assesses their abilities in a particular skill.

Found that interesting.

So, we will take tests every week to figure out what position we get with Dharma maybe? I hope I don't end up a janitor....

It's Workman, and it's a perfectly respectable position. Wink

Passed the test (just like everyone else who passed the test!), signed up, and all that. I copied down my card number, in case it becomes useful later. I, too, heard the foreign talking in the background, but could not make out the language, much less the words being spoken. And maybe my eyes were playing tricks on me, but I almost thought I saw some subliminal words briefly pop up during transitions between questions. The whole leaderboard thing is intriguing--I'm not sure I like the concept of competitive versus collaborative, but I'll reserve judgment until we learn more about the mechanics of the game. Also: was it just me, or does the "Forum" link in the footer not actually lead to forums?

It would sure imply that there's a right and wrong way to take the tests, but I agree with your logic here.

On another site someone mentioned that The default birthday is July 17, 1978. Also you have the ability to change your card number if you want

The forum link sent me to the ABC forums...
