I know a couple of people from Brazil but not exactly from Rio.
Jorge is from Sao Paulo if I'm not wrong.
I'll see if I find someone in Rio.

ps. - both Boston and Rio are approximately 4468 km from Garzon.
so IF (and that's a big IF) Garzon ends up pointing to another deaddrop (maybe the Lost Ring itself), the deaddrop could be in Boston.
So if you live in Boston, you are forbidden from going on vacation until we get another location out of Garzon, or the Olympics get here, or both.

i asked a friend of mine if she could pick up the artifact...she said no, because she lives far from the bookstore (Livraria Rio Antigo = Old Rio Bookstore), but she will ask some of her friends who lives nearer to pickup the artifact.
i'll try to find more connections there, and i'll post here when i get anything.

--EDIT--
for the record, here's the place.

Why is this starting to feel like spam for your friends' videos?

The guy went to the library and the employs told him that there was
no book named Legends or Mirth and Marvels there.
But me and Soso think and the answer for that is cause the book costs
almost 1000 $, so we suppose that they don't keep the book in the bookshelf.
Tomorrow I hope for his comprehension and expect for his return in the library.

It shouldn't be quite that expensive, unless it's a first edition or something. Its full name is The Ingoldsby Legends, or Mirth and Marvels, so it might be called simply "The Ingoldsby Legends." It probably looks something like this.
