That, and talk about Tagruato and military personnel...
So, I just started watching Cloverfield tonight. I haven't watched this in a while, so I thought I'd pop in the Blu-Ray into my PlayStation 3 and watch this movie in glorious high-definition. However, I'm not going to pin-point and pick apart the high-quality footage -- I thought I'd do something different, when it comes to analyzing.

No one really took notice of the very first, what I would like to call "boot-up/opening sequence" to Cloverfield. You know, when they show the "case designate etc." information, obviously inciting that the Government has a keen interest on this case. Haha, and who wouldn't when you've obviously had a field-day with reports about a monster of epic proportions attacking Manhattan? Anyways...

RIGHT BEFORE THE COLORED BAR SHOW UP ON THE SCREEN...there's a sort of, well, I don't really know how to explain it. To me, it looks like a time-stamp the government issued onto the video to designate maybe...multiple reports of the same incident?

It says the following: DoD (7) 32-16-12

The only thing I can make out is that DoD probably stands for "Department of Defense". But then what do the other numbers in the time-stamp possibly indicate? Lol, I'm going back offline to watch the movie now. Feel free to leave a comment, opinion, to get the discussion going.

Also, do you think the Japanese are interested in the case, as well? I would think so, considering U.S and Japanese relations would indicate that they'd want to garner the most information. Not sure whether or not Tagruato officials have been apprehended or even question by either U.S. or Japanese military personnel. Sounds like a great sequel set-up, in my opinion.

 		I noticed there's a stamp for NGA as well. I did some googling and found out what it was. It turns out that it's nothing more than a combat support agency, meaning that there's just most likely more people involved than we may have thought beforehand.

And I was thinking about the numbers for the DoD timestamp and I thought to myself, that they're most likely just a set of random numbers -- basically used as filler, nothing more. But you know JJ Abrams; he's always leaving out the littlest details with the biggest outcomes. What a tease.

 		....................this post really sucked..................... the numbers mean nothing just like 1-18-08 is just the date, it has no secret like 1+18+08= 666 ZOMG.... understand? and lupinechaos please learn how to type we cant understand the point youre trying to get through

sorry about that, i just fixed it so maybe the rest of you might understand what i meant. ( i do know how to type i just make mistakes)
