I forgot where I read it but somewhere in this forum somebody pointed out the official number of parasites from the bluray edition as well as measurements of MGP's body. He comcluded that each parasite would have roughly a 6'x6' to themselves. The submarine picture seems to show the parasites bunched together with about as much room as was previously calculated. Could this support the idea that that is actually MGP's back we are looking at?

I'm just trying to imagine though, how the little scouting submarine managed to get behind Clover's back. Not to mention that if this moment in the ARG was realistic, who and what managed to take that picture. I would have thought that the monster is very self-aware of its surroundings. So if something is moving by it, or on any part of it's body, it'd notice and react.
Besides, its back is way too flat. In the movie, it was very bumpy and rigid.

Unless of course it was still dormant. Been down there for thousands of years, but it's a baby.
Incubation? Hibernation? Metamorphosis?
Whatever it was, MGP wasn't ready to get up yet when that picture was taken, apparently.

I think it's just me, but the reason I had a difficult time believing it's MGP's back is because it felt like he was so much bigger than the picture where you could see him underwater. I still think he looks really small in that picture.

I think "SBN" isnt really sea bed nectar, thats just what Tagruato thought it was because they believed they were working on the ocean floor not a monsters back. I think SBN is really Clover's embryo fluid and he awakes when the SBN is completely eaten of his skin by the parasites, but thanks to Tagruato taking the SBN from the parasites they had to eat more to maintian their self, so Clover awakened maybe 100's of years early.

Mildly OT - Can somebody please take all of the OT threads and just move them out of the archives please? That way, at least it looks like we stay relatively down to business in here, rather than looking like some friggin rediculous ass people runnin around stirrin up shit because of all this recent death bullshit . Hell, im askin, and IM one of the main people who stirred up the most shit, lol! Im just sayin, yeah, this stuff sucks, and we cant prove anything until we see something concrete one way or the other, so theres no point in continuing argument after argument about it, because its going to keep on going nowhere, and its just gonna make people look dumb for continuing to post about it, namely ME, lol. So, yeahh...if we could..go ahead n move that shit into the basement...yeahhh...it'd really help out alot. *picks up my red stapler*

That reminded me of the fourth issue of Cloverfield: Kishin (manga) where we see the Cloverfield monster withering away as it sinks deep into the ocean. I don't think that'd be the same thing for this, though. But it is pretty interesting...and weird, lol.

The Chuai station was huge.. Clover is huger.
And thats only a small portion of his back in that picture, considering his size that could be between bumps or the top of one.. not too smooth at all, just have to remember the bumps scale up too when you're that close
