[SPEC][PUZZLE] Australian Aphynos
Thar's Slusho! in them thar Aphynos

I first brought this up here last week:

http://forums.unfiction.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=22169&start=135

The original reference to "genetic manipulation of Australian Aphynos" sounded like a tip to an anagram. When I originally played around with this, it was a pretty overwhelming pile of nonsense. Then I noticed "slusho" in the phrase. Seems like either a)strange coincidence b) red herring, or c) a puzzle worth pursuing.

There's 683 anagrams for Australian Aphynos that include the word "slusho." Using wordsmith.org, I haven't found anything that jumps off the page...though a number seem tempting close to, well, somthing.

And for those fans of the exploding Marlena theory, one anagram option is: "A Slusho Pinata Yarn."

I understand. Because a phrase has slusho in it, it's the monster.

Next you're going to say, "it's only hypothetical/a theory".

Then, I will say, "Don't post a theory if you don't believe in it".

Then you'll say "I don't believe in it, but I think we should give it a chance".

Then I'll say, "Maybe anyone who has the smallest conspiracy theory-like clue should post their idea."

Then I'll notice people already do that.
----------------

Carry on. But It's just a coincidence, hardly strange at all.

I really dont think any clue will come from anagrams, the only thing you get from anagrams are wierd coincidences which fit the story when forced, and lead no where.

For example: A Slusho Pinata Yarn...

That mean nothing, and I guess you can say "A pinata breaks, and marlena supposadly explodes, and it has slusho in the phrase. This must be related to that." Which leads us no where, and is a stretch at best.

Austrailian Aphynos
What about the yellowtails that were put into the slusho?

http://www.freedive.net/ibsrc/fish_frms/f_auyello.htm

This is a world record site for Austrailian yellowtail.

This site's wallpaper is even in the movie ie: easter egg at the end credits you can see the curved shape just like the websites image (creepy). And the monster sure looks like a deformed austrailian yellowtail to me. What do you think?

Why in the world did you just bump a 7 month old thread?

Austrailian Aphynos

I know it's been 6 months since that thread...but I was bored and came across this information and thought it was interesting.

Because he obviously read the 'before you post a new thread' info.

The new info he had related to this previous portion of our investigation and it was properly placed in the correct thread.

Failure to have done it this way would have been reason for a sound trouting. Instead he used the search button.

a Brownie for Chatty1.

Now, bumping old threads just to do so or to just add obscenities or to just generally harrass the forum (especially to 15-20 threads over a short amount of time) IS frowned upon and will get someone in trouble.

As to the topic at hand?

I was just watching the end credits today, I'm paused in the middle so I'll check it out when I get home. theres some interference during the credits but I wasn't able to pick out a picture from it earlier...

Austrailian Aphynos
vague possibility

This could be just a hunt for anything vaguely resmbling the yellowtail, but when you go to credits there is an arching curved figure that resmbles the silhouette of the yellowfish from the wallpaper on this site:http://www.freedive.net/ibsrc/fish_frms/f_auyello.htm Could be absolutely nothing I'm sure. But I thought it may be something to consider.
