Really the original six where a bunch of lazy guys. In just a few months we already build an omphalos 3 times bigger than theirs.

The omphaputer says that now the omphstrength is 72.96 and there are lines made of light blue dots which I assume is the net of omphalos.
I can see two red dots and a yellow one too... is that just an error?

That depends on where they are (link)

I can see now why we urgently need Wellington and Reykjavik - without these two, most of the omphlines would remain mere parallels without intersections. I still haven't heard from the Icelandic photographer I have tried to contact, however.

Look! When you type MAKE OMPH KNOT, those lines slowly get erased, seemingly before the rest of the planet is affected! Maybe if we have enough lines, we don't swirl away into oblivion!

Along those lines--I'm thinking that we're going to need to get all the omph knots made and then type that command into the Omphaputer. Maybe it's necessary, maybe not... it'll be cool anyway

Markus has blogged an appeal to stop raising the omphstrength by additional city labyrinths. WHY, after he first seemed so enthusiastic about our Munich omphalabyrinth?

Omphstrenght is 86 already. We must make sure that it doesn't rise even higher. Long live Theo!
You can check the omphstrength by accessing this address: http://164.109.150.213/index.html, press ENTER and then type "omphstrength" and press ENTER again.
You/They mustn't raise the omphstrength anymore!
EDIT:
I'll write him a mail asking about the background and reasons for his post. Maybe I'll be lucky and receive an answer ...

But, too bad for him. I'm doing the Dallas ones today!

Also too bad for him is that Toronto has already done their labyrinth (strength over 19) and it isn't included in that 86 total! So once it registers, we may well already be over 100!

I somehow like the thought of making Markus feel bad.
He deserves it for his continued refusal to communicate with us (short blog posts are not what I would describe as "communicating"!).
I wonder when the omphnet finally will bridge the Pacific Ocean ...

Seems like as good a thread as any
OMPHAPUTER UPDATE!
http://164.109.150.213/index.html
>OMPHSTRENGTH
OMPH STRENGTH 109.41
Network Incomplete
Knots Complete: 9
Knots Remaining: 18
RUN GRAPH looks the same
2008.inf now says 86.30%, but that could be old.
blue lines now cross the pacific.
and the training records have been updated
>TRAINING/GAEA
Gaes | 3 Circuit: 12.06 | 7 Circuit: 1:25.25
The file size is 40% larger than it was, so everyone feel free to poke around for new stuff.
I want to say that my Shift key now works. I can do '?' and '@' ...
so maybe non-US keyboards can now do the slash '/'. Let us know if it works.

Ok three new labyrinths with additional 23.11 "strength unit" (su). Great work everybody.
Regarding the wiki we have
Toronto, Canada with 19.81 su
Dallas, Texas with 17.82 su
What is the third city and what are the correct strength values (because 19.81 and 17.82 sum up to more than 23.11)?

Just got my email back from Eli and he mentioned something interesting, which I thought I'd share here (this seems like the most appropriate thread, but correct me if I'm wrong):
Eli Hunt wrote:
Hello Laura,
Congratulations on your mission!
Can you send the KMZ file so I can start transmission of the path to
the other worlds?
We have created a kind of personal labyrinth registry in a very
powerful omphalos building in London and we need to get the data on a
server in that building.
Sincerely yours.
Eli Hunt
The building has GOT to be the Gherkin . So...what are they doing with it? Is that how they're communicating with parallel worlds now?
I wrote back to ask for more details, but I think that's pretty cool. How much info is getting through, and back-and-forth, though? Curious!
