Ok three new labyrinths with additional 23.11 "strength unit" (su). Great work everybody.

Regarding the wiki we have
Toronto, Canada with 19.81 su
Dallas, Texas with 17.82 su

What is the third city and what are the correct strength values (because 19.81 and 17.82 sum up to more than 23.11)?

maybe this one? Vienna

Yes, it was Vienna Smile
and Toronto

but not Dallas (yet), but London.

all the training times are still the same. I don't know if anything else has changed today.

So these are 6 more labyrinths since the last omphaputer update.

Do we know which ones? Ariadne listed 5 (and more) but writes she knows at least 8. I wonder which are the 6 counted by omphaputer. These five

Beijing, China;
Salvador, Brazil;
Washington, DC, USA;
Buenos Aires, Argentina;
Laval, France

and ???

Comparing the cities we know from this board it really seems this arg is much bigger than the unfiction forum (but I did not follow the IG forums).

[UPDATE] The image on Ariadne's post from the omphaputer is still the old one with 9 knots listed

I know Kyoto has been completed and confirmed by Eli.

And from this board I know Paris, Dallas and Madrid are also completed and confirmed.

So I think we can give up tracking which labyrinths are counted on the omphaputer Sad

Double post Smile

New update on Ariadne's blog: Now she listed those 6 cities (which are probably the ones counted by the omphaputer):

Kyoto, Paris, Austin, Dallas, Madrid, and La Plata!

Assuming that La Plata counts as Buenos Aires, I guess that only the cities from James two lists are counted by the ompaputer.

I also completed one this weekend in my hometown, Duncan, Oklahoma with my mom driving. I don't know if it counts in any way, but it was fun and if any place needs a little synchronizing with the rest of the multiverse, Duncan might.

I think all labyrinths a are somehow important, but what is more:
Running city labyrinths is fun!

So I encourage people running city labyrinths (doesn't matter if they are on the list or not.)

Running city labyrinths is INCREDIBLY much fun and I'd love to do another one if any of the cities that still need labyrinths was nearby and easy to reach. If only I had enough money to travel to Sweden`or Denmark for a day or two, I'd do that immediately and run a city labyrinth in Copenhagen or Göteborg or Stockholm or Kiruna or Umeå or wherever we are supposed to do one. But - much as I'd love to whizz off to Scandinavia immediately - I really cannot afford the tickets ...

How about Reykjavík? Have we got any news from our contact there?

I wonder why the omphaputer doesn't draw the shortest lines between omphcities on the spherical surface, but long curves, and why the lines break at some longitude. I think the omphaputer draws lines on a flat rectangular map, then moves the lines onto the spherical surface. These would be very problematic when it calculates covering areas.

Double post.

BUT. Eli says we need a backup plan. Just in case we don't finish the omphalos network before the Opening Ceremonies.

Does anybody know the deadline of city-sized labyrinths, the opening ceremonies or the closing ceremonies? I was asked by a person in Noriko's forum.

Eli wrote we must finish "by the Olimpics".

And I assumed "by the olympics" meant they must be done by the time the olympics start. That's the way I'd have said it. He didn't say "before the olympics end."

Thanks, jasper, I sent an email to Eli to confirm it.

I got a reply from Eli.
Eli wrote:
Hello Unagi,

Our belief is that the omphalos network is what allows massive
synchronization across the worlds.

By completing our network before the Opening Ceremonies, we will be
able to benefit from every athletic event.

The more athletic synchronization that occurs, the more likely our
agonothetai will be able to flare navigate to their correct home
worlds.

If we do not complete the network until the end of the Olympic Games,
we will not be sufficiently synchronized and the probability of their
navigating to random worlds increases sufficiently to make it a very
dangerous enterprise.

Sincerely yours,

Eli Hunt
