Silverladder? AreYouFollowingThis? Gamejack? Who knows!
Sorry to create an extraneous thread for this, but more eyes might be able to crack these emails and determine where they belong. They originally seemed to go with AreYouFollowingThis, based on who got them. Now, though, they seem to be a part of Silverladder, based on the content. AYFT's PM has been making references to past ARGs and the email originated from an Israelmail address, so it really could go either way. Here are the emails I've seen posted so far, all seem to be from "aaeghiimsst aaeghiimsst, <aaeghiimsst>"

 		OK, based on what's happened in SilverLadder.

Korporation: antagonists of SL, themes of totalitarianism and consumerism.

Deck: protagonists. the characters are based on the different suits, each suit has a different theme (love, art, information, chaos). See http://silverladder.despoiler.org/index.php?title=The_Deck

EDIT:
I personally doubt that AYFT is SilverLadder. I kind of know-ish (is that a word?) the PM, and it's not exactly his style. But, anything is possible. I'll read up.

Oooh, I like that theory. The Silverladder PMs and XIII teaming up perhaps? The only trouble I can see is that a little short of a week ago (around when AYFT started) there was a death in the Silverladder PM's family. That thread said everything was put on hold... And while AYFT is going pretty slow, it's not exactly on hold.

 		It also said that "Ham War" will resume on Wednesday, it is Tuesday night, could this be the re-start?
(I have no idea what "Ham War" is so forgive me if I'm wrong)

I haven't been playing either games, so I don't know why they'd be contacting me....

I asked about that too, in another thread. XD Apparently the contact addresses for HamWar are very specific: piginabeard and piginadress, both from the silverladder domain.

My question is, are there any connections to Israel in Silverladder? That's what had us thinking that these emails went with AYFT, our first contact is former MOSSAD and the characters talk alot about a war in Israel.

 		HamWar is a dice rolling game already in progress. HamWar is not an ARG. The emails for that game come from silverladder email addresses and are very obviously HamWar related. This is not in relation to that.

There are also no previous mentions of Israel in SL that I am aware of. I can tell you what it isn't but I haven't figured out what it is yet. Very Happy

 		Something coherent from him!! Cool I'm quite proud of myself, even though it didn't really clarify anything further. But it proves he can be reasoned with... ish... and that those emails aren't all he's able to say. Maybe this is a character randomly mass-emailing a puzzle, but he's human, I think.

Umm i said this in there and ill say it here. the email addresses are practically C&P from the interaction thread, by which i mean the addresses on my list were in order from the second to last page 16 i think of the Interaction thread, so if you posted there, more than likely you got this.
