hey, y'all. this is porrphyrhia's friend, chris.

a mutual friend who had brought him to the hospital just called at around 3:20EST to give me an update on michael (porrphyrhia).

in a suddenly tragic turn of events, unfortunately, he didn't make it through his surgery. we're all deeply saddened by his loss. he was the kind've guy that was so happy to be living here, he would've given his left arm to anyone. he told everyone time and time again, that his life-long dream was to move to america, and he has always been so thrilled to be here. i've never met a more stand-up guy in my life, even if i couldn't understand half of the shit that he was saying! he was almost through college, where he was trying to major in the english language, and always was down on himself for not really "getting on it", as he said. we need a less complicated language!

i spoke briefly to his parents, and he's going to be cremated, and his funeral services will be taking place with his family in norway.

i'd like to thank all of you for his enthusiasm... this damn movie and this forum is all he's talked about for months now, and y'all really kept him going for the past few weeks. i wouldn't post about this on here if this site and community hadn't been such a thrill to him.

he wouldn't want anyone to be sad or mope around about it, and though i know none of you really knew him as a person, he'd want everyone that he considered as a friend (which was pretty much anyone he has ever met) to be as lighthearted about it as they could. he was the kind of person who would brush off anything in his own life to help anyone else, and the world could've used someone like him sticking around. it's just horrible that he grew so sick, so young.

so thanks, everyone. keep him in your prayers.

I know he will be missed by all of us here at the Cloverfield forums, and all of UnFiction lost an amazing member...

 		I never knew the guy on these forums, but he sounded like an awesome guy to be friends with, and I am deeply sorry for all of his friends and family, but, on the bright side, now he has all the time in the world to learn the English language thoroughly with God. Rest in Peace porrphyrhia, such a shame to lose such an eager Cloverfield fan Smile

Yeah, I wouldn't think so either. You'd have to be pretty sick to come up with a "prank" like that. I'd only get suspicious if something weird would happen simultaneously, something like a long-time lurker suddenly registering from nowhere, claiming not to know this person, yet sharing the very same IP address they used to post from and using a rather similar e-mail address to register with these forums...

Yup i thought it was weird when i saw this guy...saw him online clicked on him...he was just sitting idle for like 3 hours and then he disappeared and it showed me that someone was being "hidden"...If its a joke...Fuck you and if its not than my first post still rings true...

He said in the other thread that he would give his friend his pass and such so he could talk on the forum for him. I doubt he expected to die in surgery... Crying or Very sad

 		If this is real: I didn't know Porrphyrhia very well, but, as a fellow member of Unfiction and follower of all things Cloverfield, it's as if a brother has been lost. RIP.
