Look at the front page. I didn't see this mentioned anywhere else, so I figured that I'd throw it out.
On the left is the News column. One of the entries reads:
Quote:
Voting Ordinance 198.182.v4 now in effect.
Does that look slightly like an IP to anyone else? Or am I just overthinking?
198.182 could be the beginning of an IP v.4 address, but we'd still need two more numbers between 1 and 254 (0 and 255 are reserved for other uses; like subnet masking).
Hmmm...
I tried re-arranging the numbers to create IPs.
198.182.192.24 (19 20 24) and 198.182.192.42 (19 24 20) don't resolve to any page (19, 20, and 24; the districts being moved)

So I went yesterday to the address provided after I voted. Nothing was found. It was funny my friend and I were walking around the park looking behind bushes and under rocks to see if there was anything. We had a couple come up to us and ask what are you looking for. We responded we are going on a hunch in a large game. Sometimes explaining ARG's is too much when your roaming. However the south end of the park toward the city looked like a bad part of Gotham.

okay guys i think i found something. i put in your IP address (198.182.192.24) and (198.182.192.42) into this website:
http://www.ip2location.com/
they both end up in Portland, Oregon. now it could just be a fluke. it might just be like the starting demo for all people who put in an IP address, like those dumb trial things, you know? but it gives a zip code, area code, what ethnicity and percentage of ethnicity lives there, all this stuff. it's crazy. you should check it out, see if i'm just crazy or something.

alright, i put in 198.182.202.41 at that same website and that brings up Canton, Massachusetts. then 198.182.242.19 is Pittsburg, Kansas. 198.182.201.92 is New York, New York, and it's the Time Warner Interactive Group. also, some bad news. the site only gives you 20 lookups per day, but i can sign up for a free demo account for 200 lookups a day. i might do that. what do you guys think about that?

No district or address. I just voted, but I didn't get a district or an address. Did they stop giving those out after a certain time or amount of people?

it probably takes a while. did you JUST vote? because it took them like 10 minutes to send my information.

198.182.190.24 is St. Louis, Missouri. 198.182.249.20 is Palo Alto, California. 198.182.209.24 is Tampa, Florida. 198.182.204.19 is Newport, Rhode Island. i'm beginning to think this isn't a fluke, because these places kind of seem like places people have already visited (bowling alleys, bakeries) in previous whysoserious games. but i could be wrong.

I didn't get an address either. Was it e-mailed to you?
I did get an ID, but I didn't write it down before clicking thru
Actually, I didn't really notice it until I'd already clicked the link to continue, and it was too late.

Well, it's the next day and still no email. Were addresses only assigned to those is certain areas, such as cities along the official campaign trail?
