Would you like to read a story?
In short, I'm looking for feedback on my story so far!

Ack. This is awkward! Basically I am looking for feedback. I have a story. I think it's a pretty decent story. I don't expect actual replies to this post, but I would like some of the Damn Good UF feedback on my story, because I want to make it into an ARG.
OK, to give you an idea it's a historical, archaeological, inheritance mystery sort of thing. It will use photos, video, manuscripts and coded paintings & textiles (real, not camouflage or steg).
It is based on some real history stuff, things I have really investigated properly and can extract a story from.
I would like to make the beginnings of the story available to anyone who feels they could give constructive critisism. Hell, I don't want to give stuff away here, that could spoil the game! If you feel you may have an interest in this sort of story, please message me! If I get 5 messages, I will release more details to those who contact me.
Thank You for your time.
Regards,
VeeBee.

So, as requested, I am feeling free to post feedback here Very Happy

The story itself so far is really good (>^.^)> I really like how you were able to make the house a place for the character to explore without resorting to something cheezy like hidden passageways and such (At least not yet Razz). It feels really natural.

I'm kinda concerned about player interaction and such though. This is the beginning of the story, so I don't expect any action-packed awesome yet, but I'm curious as to how exactly the players recieve the trailhead, and exactly what they can help with other than "O HAI THERE IS CODE HERE" and relaying info about the disappearance.

Take my advice about the player interaction with a grain of salt, though, since I'm not a seasoned puppetmaster Razz

Thankyou! Player interaction is extremely important, otherwise it really is just a story with a few puzzles thrown in. Even though I'm not looking to launch for probably a couple of years, Anna's friend already has an internet presence that can be interacted with. Anna, being a freelance artist, will obviously have a website etc etc. Once I have written the story from each character's point of view, there should be loads of potential to interact.
The trailhead is a bit difficult to work into this, I agree. But hopefully I am giving myself enough time to sort that out..... Confused
Secret passages? No Way!!!!!!
Thanks again for your time and input!
Very Happy
