SecureID Email

So I got an email form the SecureID enrollment group today. They asked for info on me and the fake company name I sent them for my indie record label. They said they would review my request and if I match their target costumers they would send me info in the mail. I send them some basic info, nothing to revealing, just a P.O. Box address and cell number. Here's the message, and to clarify, Wagon Records is the fake company name that I submitted, not the game. The email was sent by Deleted The Game, from the emailSPLATsecureid.com address:

Thank you for your application for more information.

Please provide us with the following information about Wagon Records and if your company fits our target profile we would be delighted to send you a package in the mail, free of charge, with more information about our company and how to acquire our custom corporate solutions.

apologies for the newbie-like double posting, i've been reading the threads on the secureidguard.com site and didn't see this mentioned yet.

http://secureidguard.com/login

you can make new accounts and so on with it.

edit: The system says it sends a confirmation email for you to validate, but I've yet to get anything.

This is another one of those common scripts that all moonfruit sites have. If you try anyother site made with moonfruit's sitemaker software, and put login at the end of the index page, that login in thing pops up. I don't think the PMs have activated a database that allows you to login.

ifihadahifi: Nice find. We also have some companies we are going to sign up! Thanks!

OH and...250 Meserole is out in East Williamsburg. I'm not sure its IG though. I'd gladly check it out though if y'all want me too. After the prototype 161 boot camp, a quick trip on the L train won't be so bad...lemme know.

You shouldn't have to wait too long for a reply. I forgot to put my zip code on the email and I got an almost immediate, non-auto response from them asking for the missing info. Hopefully a few people hear back from them soon.

Okay, messaged them both. I've concentrated on the next step in their "relationship", Ethan's company party.

Yeah, well that has been re-worded in other emails by Tyler herself, and we think she is talking about the LAUNCH PARTY, and heck we don't want to wait for THAT. I got extra points for sending in a suggestion on how she can see him sooner...I think that is the direction the "relationship" thread needs to take--getting them together again BEFORE the launch. In order to get their "story" up to speed at the launch party and there fore the true beginning of the game, they need to be an established "couple"....see the Deleted trailer video: "You leave Tyler alone--if anything happens to her......."

Irene adler got a PM from Tyler, apparently her and Ethan are already hot and heavy. Very serious from the sounds of it.

I tried to get her to give up the location of the company party...she says they are "in love." But Ethan has been distant because Zach is MIA and Ethan is doing a bunch of his work.

I just sent a myspace message to tyler, hoping to maybe get in the inside track on this game. Seems she's already read it. BTW, yes I know, right at the beginning I gotta reach down and pick up the name I dropped

Quote:
I'm friends with Irene, she was telling me how great you and ethan are together. I just wanted to let you know I'm SOO happy for you, and if you ever need advice, help, anything, I'm only one message away.

As a matter of fact, after watching your vlogs, I feel such a connection to you, that if you need ANYTHING, and it's urgent, you can text or call me at any time day or night. My number is (xxx) XXX-XXXX.

You and Ethan are in my prayers, as well as Zach being found so that you can see Ethan more.

Josh

And it's already been read, so we'll see what happens.

Great message, hopefully she responds to that.

I also sent Tyler a message on Myspace regarding her music. I figured since I play in a band that maybe I could connect with her on that angle. Myspace says that she has read my email too, so if I hear anything I'll let you all know.

I sent her a message today too...basically telling her I wanted *details* thank you very much about her and Ethan and how that is going....

Then I added this:

I am more worried about Zach than ever. He recently updated their website and, although I am not an expert, I detected some things in the meta that can only mean one thing--he is trying to get information out in code. Most probably to Ethan.

Since Ethan only has eyes and ears for you at the moment, maybe you could pass this along to Ethan for me? Tell him he needs to get a Hagelin C-35 decoder...he can either buy one on eBay, or use a Java Applet--he'll know what this means. I suspect I have the 5 letter key he'll need. He needs to have this ready for when Zach decides to plug his encoded message into their website script. I wish I knew more, but hopefully Ethan will understand what Zach is up to if he has a heads up.

I also sent a direct message to Ethan. We'll see.......heh.

Random observations on the http://secureidguard.com/ site...

Anyone else notice that they have enroll written out as enrol? Is this a case of over-analyzing or is it something of note that they have it written out more as British English as opposed to American English? I mean they're both correct spellings, just different dialects.

Any importance in the clock on the main page pointing to 2:00?

Speaking of Identity Theft, it looks like their Learn More page is a copy of this one: https://www.msufcu.org/identitytheft.html. But this most likely just sounds like swiped copy, not something which is really contributing to the game*

(*unless this security system is one big con job)

The "enrol" part or the other part (I can't find the stock page you're talking about)

If the former, it does make sense, since moonfruit is located in London.

Let me know if the random observation stuff like this gets annoying. I'm prone to doing the "hey is that odd or not" stuff at times, and it does get a bit tin foil hat like.

That's not a bad thing, but like Wolfie mentioned earlier, these guys (the PMs, aka Puppet Masters) are not necessarily experienced ARGers. This game is so far following a much more "social" strategy than a "puzzle" oriented one.

Points have been giving for things like Tyler whining she needs head shots, and a "photographer" gets in touch with her. She complains about not having a boyfriend, and ZOOM! A thousand of us descend on her with Ethan's photo and vice versa. Then Irene came up with the best way to meet the guy....

I *think* the only actual "technical" type situation so far was the IN GAME snafu with her mp3 player on her MySpace page. However, I do believe that whomever (can't look back that far right now) found the meta coding about the Hagelin C-35 is most probably on to the next big step the game will take.

Just my two cents...
