Not sure what to think, I sent this:

Quote:
To whom it may concern,
I am a freelance security consultant and I have been approached by a
few of your potential clients regarding how strong your system is. I
noticed that on your site you make mention of Hagelin C3's encryption
technology. Is this based off of the work done by Boris Hagelin? Is
it used to encrypt the data on your network or for some other purpose?
As his technology is very outdated I hope that is only based on it
and/or in commemoration of Mr. Hagelin.

Please advise me on this so that I can inform my clients whether or
not your system is as secure as you claim.

Mr. Wolf

Got this back:

Quote:
Dear Mr Wolf,

Thank you for your enquiry. It is company policy not to address matters of this nature.

However, if your clients wish to apply for enrolment in our customized corporate identity protection programs, please invite them to contact us at enrolSPLATsecureidguard.com

Sincerely,

SecureIDGuard Inc.

Seems like maybe you should send an email from your "clients" now. Reference yourself in it and maybe you'll get the same response I did asking for your company's information.

Sorry, I forgot to log in. That guest comment above is from me. Oops!

Let me know if you get anything back from them. I'd be curious to know if they send you the same email.

Yes I was pursuing a different avenue, trying to get to the bottom of the Hagelin thing.

Already sent and received replies, so have others, they were the same as yours.

How long did it take to get yours? I shot off an e-mail to the "enrol" button this morning and haven't heard back yet. I just hope I didn't get passed over.

No, now we need the offset numbers, THEN the encoded message.

This may be way off target here, but has anyone looked at the logos on the Secure ID Gaurd page. THe clock pointing to 2:00, the arrow pointing right at the number 24, then some sort of document. Messed up logic, and maybe a rookie mistake, but if you interpret it as follows:

2 ---> 24 = 12

Seems like it may be something. Seems basic, but you never know. If nothing else, 22412 could be something to look at in the future. Just a thought.

Good job so far, everyone. Clearly I am working with people who know their ARGs.

mentioned the enrol and icon stuff here and was told (I think?) that the enrol graphic is a templated graphic from moonfruit, which would make sense if that's the case because the company itself is British so the language would be using that dialect.

edit: another random observation - the cnet article linked on their site is about a tech company [google] being hit by some possible identity theft. I'll email them asking about how they would handle this situation.

That's a legit article though, definitely OOG, just used as an IG example.

Yeah, it does. I'm collecting 5 letter words though, just in case. ETHAN, TYLER, ENROL.....
