 		You may have just found our "offset" numbers for decoding stuff from Zach......in fact the five letter code could easily be DYLAN. Weird that our file is misspelled....we assumed it not working was the only task involved with this....maybe we were wrong. I will ask Tyler about it.

when did we start getting code from zach? and what file? sorry just trying to play catchup. its been awhile since her last video so maybe we are missing something?

We didn't get code from Zach....if we did it would be sort of useless because we didn't have any offset numbers for that particular decoding device. However, we do know the device is most probably IG (my opinion) because Tyler didn't shoot it down or deny it when presented the info. She said she would make sure Ethan got the info.

It has been the pattern over the past several weeks that most of the "activity" is occurring on weekends. This weekend we didn't really see anything that presented itself as a "situation" to be solved. It makes me think we aren't done with the MP3 file. And the fact that it is named incorrectly really "bothers" me....

 		It just goes to show how good my spelling is... I hadn't even noticed it was misspelt! Could it be that its a genuine mistake? Is it misspelt on her myspace (I can't check I'm at work at the moment)? It might just be there to make us look at the file more closely.

Too many ifs, buts and maybes in this post!

 		just to throw this out there about the "keycode82" her myspace name is "tylermills1982" . and unless itunes or something else put it there. she must have done it.

so i asked about the 82 thing. from tyler...

 		I got the exact, word for word same reply from Tyler.....

I asked Ethan via Facebook....nothing so far. Neither one of us got a change in points......hmmmmmmmmmm. I replied to Tyler with instructions on how to read the comments in iTunes--I also have an old mac, so it's a piece of cake.

well we havent solved anything really. im not sure if anyone else has tried random emailing? but i found mailing zach or ethan @secureid.com
doesnt return a reply or a wrong address. double hmmm. using that iv tried adding them to my linkedin the one for zach saying i want to give him money. so i dont know. and i guess were all still waiting on our "enrollment package"

I have an old Mac too.....but let me tell you what to do: open iTunes, the single click on that file so it is highlighted. Go up to your selection menu and click on FILE and glide down to GET INFO. A little window will pop up, and using the tabs on top (summary, info, video, sorting, options, lyrics, artwork) click on INFO....then look in the COMMENTS box and you will see somebody typed in "keycode82". That is something that is done during the creation, or re-creation, or updating of the file. It doesn't just come that way, somebody has to have typed it in there. If you didn't know that section was there, and blindly created the music file and saved it, the box would be blank.

I think Ethan put it there for a reason. It may have something to do with that whole decoder thing Zach buried info about in his website. The decoder needs a numbered keycode to offset the alphabet for encryption or decryption.

Just take a look at your file, so you don't think I am crazy. Something is going on here with all this buried message stuff. I can feel it in my bones. It will pay off later if we pay attention now.


No "XO" or anything. I done pissed her off but good. Pffffffft!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 		God its strange working on this from a different timezone! It could be that keycode82 is just an artifact from some encoding program. The results it comes up with on google are all Linux/unix based which is what mac osx is based on

Could be we're over analysing. Tyler certainly shot it down in flames.

 		Looks to me like all that code stuff either has nothing to do with this, or it's way too soon for it to play a part.

I know many ARG'ers get off on finding/solving codes which takes a more than average knowledge of computer programs. Personally I've never liked that part of ARGs - too complicated for my discalculiatic mind.

Anyway, glad to see nothing major occurred this weekend. All I got is a reply to my "enrol" message. But as stated previously, I don't like the business/corporate angle of this so I don't know about making up a company.

Who's replying to those mails, anyway? Zach is missing and looking at his Facebook account Ethan hasn't been online since July 10th. Or at least he hasn't DONE anything since then.

 		With Tyler's latest replies in mind, I suggest we tread lightly with our messages. Let's treat her more like a person and less like a character in an ARG. Most people don't message someone with lots of random technical stuff and asking them to try to do things with files. I can understand why Tyler got annoyed.

Speaking of Tyler, is it just me or does she sound a tad obsessive with Ethan? Almost like she's hypnotized? Several of her posts make me envision cultists worshiping the Great God Ethan and his holy Twinkies or some sort. Laughing

I am having trouble wording things at the moment. I apologise.

 		Sent Secure ID Guard a message to enrol.

They replied that "your application information is incomplete" and then put up the list again to fill in.

What I left out was my own personal address, phone numbers and web address. I'm not about to hand over those details. I like the realism of ARGs but draw the line at phone numbers.

So am I not allowed to play because of that? Perhaps I can talk my way out of it, give some sort of reason that our phones are unavailable or something ...
