Well it appears that we have everything.

I am using this account primarily because Carlyal gave me some of the information I have forwarded to you, including the pictures and the previous document. I have compiled this complete dossier for you. They are convinced that Ethan is a cyberterrorist. I am trying to keep an open mind - I don't want to accuse a friend of something terrible - but we need to find out exactly what Desidtech can do. Ethan seems to have been traveling a lot, talking to people in Korea, and now apparently Russia. And this mysterious B12? Do you think that could be connected to the other document in the file?

Thank you for te file, it is somewhat infomative as it regards the current situation and allows us to explore different avenues and enable us to see what Dr E did without any direct contact. So was that the final file?
Dr E is in deep and we ahve to try and resue him as i feel that this might be a set up or something as, in my opinion, Dr E doesn't look like the type to be a cyber terrorist, its all a bit a miss

Thing is we have the same file ywice but its like 10X the size and also do we know anything about this other file type, its wasnt found when i did the find prog oinline thing to open it.

researching now.... will edit in a few.


EDIT::

I need a mac user to open the other half of the files and reseach as they are mac OS things, means windows wont open them. i think the DS file will enlighten us. but i feel that now this game is getting a bit out of hand as we keep getting stuff that gives us more questions then answers. where now, ill send this to jo and also send a mail back to zach but please someone on mac check the ds file out.

Well i did it again. i already submitted my answer as i found out all the information i need. I worked it out again.

B12, it was a clue.
We were given the instructions, but did anyone follow?
Read the document and search the banana. Wahd you think to my hints.

I'll mail Jo and Zacheepoo, they need this info. Finally, something is solved earlier than we might have expected.

2 weeks running, i feels so happy.

PM me if you really have no clue, or just want to double check stuff.

Also if i had realised this earlier say 3-4 hours earlier, we would have got ethan to speck as i was about 1h40 behind him leaving a message.

also don't link your hotmail to his, realises that as i was going to do to make it easier to log into it but didnt because that means he could go into my mail and read!! not a good idea!!

 		I'm astounded by the amount of information you receive, Colmy. Did anyone else get that document, the photographs, etc?

Actually I found the info on that hotmail account yesterday, but the login information was on a blog dated 2006 so I assumed it was real, not IG.

What does the E 217 mean?

Thing is i only seem to get information by asking zach is there anything else and also saying my theories on the situation, it seems there is still an element of friendship existing because it appears no one else got the information. I suppose asking the right questions is a big part of this thing but i have noticed they are trying to drag out the weeks events but giving the vital peice of information last.

Schrij, that blog i thought nothing of as it was old but then i decided to do something contrevertial as we had no leads on the desidtech stuff anywhere online, so i thought i would chance it and test to see whether the account might be cative because it does seem a bit a miss that on a blog they would put the Password for an email account in a federal investigation on line, its basicly saying, hello spammer and identity thieves, go on my account. Might i ask where E217 came from, a link possibley.

also i left ethan a message, hopefully can get a responce.

 		yaya, there is still life here.
As you can see, there has been no activity here for about a week, as soom as i posted my last post, and submitted my answer, it all died, as it was solved, you got last weeks stuff right??

now i have jo saying this:

I need help. Ethan left some things at my place. While searching through them, I found and ID vault, basically a secure flash-drive. I think the answers to our questions could be on this piece of hardware, but so far, I haven't been able to gain access to any of the information on it. I need to find someone who can hack it. Do you think you can do this, or do you know anyone who could? The vault only works on PC's. Please help me, but be careful about who you ask for assistance.

 		totally unrelated to the game...went to see a band last night and the lead singer looked identical to Zach--at least with the bar lights and beer haze.

I got the same message from Josephine. I emailed her back and she's mailing me the "ID vault." I've never gotten anything in the mail from an ARG so I'm very excited. I'm also glad that I know that someone else will be getting it as well...although I told Josephine I was confident I could hack it, I'm really not confident I can hack it.

So, we can get that XXX XXX 9438 is from SueAnn and his Dad...kind of don't get it b/c his Dad says "it's me again" but SueAnn was the one to call from that number before.
My guess for one of the other 2 numbers is that one is Tyler's prepaid cell. I want the other one to be Nicole b/c I can't find another way to get in contact with her except for the news story she wrote, which I can't find anymore.

Remember way back after watching the trailer someone came up w/ a phone # 212-924-3318. I used that area code and prefix to call the 3 numbers in the transcript..
212-924-9438 and 212-924-8535 are out of service. 212-924 4371 rings and rings w/ no voicemail (which is unheard of these days even on a landline).
Irene--how did you find those 646- numbers from WHOIS? Just thought that one of the numbers in the transcript would match a phone number associated with the website and we could get the right area code and prefix that way.
And, can anyone else find the trailer anymore. I can't find it on youtube and the deleted website has an error when you try to play it.

its jo's, i also got the transcript and im glad to see there are still active players on this board. Right, the ID vault, i didnt wwant to get it as i live in england as i i would have a go at it but lual, how good is your computer skills?? If you want a hand, ive put my MSN on my profile, so add me if you want and i might be able to help you as there is always a way to get around these kind of things, they generally have some kind of admin password of thing that over rides the user profile, if not i have a user and password in mind, well a few, also can you post pics of the vault as i want to see whether they used a proper, commercially made one rather than create their own with a usb pen drive and just lock it with a password.

the trailer, though dont know if it will be of any use to you, i dont know about the whois stuff that ws done, some ARG stuff still kind of goes over my head, but in the transcript there seems to be a code, ill keep an eye on that for the future as we must remember, ethan talked with tim so he would be on the record.

remember, anything on that vault is probly going to be disidtech related and will allow us to tell jo to trust.

 		Didn't receive anything about the vault but I did get the transcript.

SueAnn is Tim's daughter. It's a transcript, not an e-mail. The "dad" isn't a signature. She's literally saying "Bye, dad."

So he was supposed to meet her the day he was shot.

The text message was sent in the middle of the night. It's definitely code. Many recurring elements.

 		I got the ID Vault..Josephine sent it express mail. However, I'm having a lot of trouble figuring out how to open it. On one computer I used (that had vista), I couldn't open it...I just got a message saying I could safely remove the card reader. On the other computer, it can't find software to open it.

This is what I have for the cell phone message...

 		I can't help thinking that we're overlooking some vital piece of evidence. I'm busy reading and rereading all the documents concerning Ethan, but I'm not uncovering anything new. Are we missing something?

a message from Jo, sounds like what i was saying a week or two ago...

Have you tried right clicking and explore on both?? what does the thing actually look like?? is there a switchon it that is set to lock?? maybe we need to find a website for it to work?? its to hold personal log on information, it was odd because i was reading about the things in that lull last week where we had no new info as it was solved. also i thought that the message you decypherd was infact a passcode into the vault, it reminded me of a wep or CD-key. now, we have new info, where to go from it??
