seems she's talked to ethan about the tech...

Florida, there is a lake county, orange county and hillsborough county in florida, its the common denominator, it makes things not so random.

Is it not the west coast, where tyler originated from? also there are a load of pensioner there who retire!! i noticed on one of the lists there was a few surnames in consecutive the same, so they are family, might be a lead??

I've put my Lake County in Ohio, Hillsborough county in New Hampshire. Because so far as I can tell, the list is arranged alphabetically first by state, then by county.

The problem with that is that Ottowa is followed by Cayahoga in the list. So Cayahoga would suggest another state, since they start over in the alphabet. But I think it's a typo, because it's actually CUyahoga.

Ethan mailed me a list of all the file names, not the files themselves.

does the name maria gomez ring any bells with anyone??

EDIT::

http://br.youtube.com/watch?v=ven9Oy3TTlw

It has the woman who plays tyler in it, can you tell me what its about??
Is it related and does it have anything to do with why tyler got killed off??

Also can you no delete posts as in my opinion its a bit harsh doing that kind of things as sometimes people refer to stuff on this site and the post doesn't exist. posted it on the official boards and here because they tend to delete posts if they dont want other to see them.

EDIT::

Just letting people know this, im not in this thing to win, i have no intention of, what im more interested in is the participation and interaction with the characters and players, if i solve something great, i feel i achieved something, i get a good feeling, if someone else does, good, they can aide those into finding the answer and help them progress. This thing about deleted is this, the point system is good but i just wanted to have an objective to reachand meet amazing people on the way i have done and i will continue to. The prize i don't care too much about as it takes away a part of the ARG i see as integral to making things work and thats teamwork, id rather trade in a prize somewhere ive never been if the other option is friends, i would do it in a beat of a heart so this is why i basically post everything, so what if i have spelling mistakes and bad grammer, what i want is to make friends and have a good time along the way, id still play this if there was no prize involved. this is my two cents. discuss if you want but this is a thought i thought id put across because i want to start seeing this thing being as strong as it was pre-game as i miss the fact there was lots of people interacting towards the goal, i know there are lurkers but it just seems to kill the whole thing if everyone is lurking.

I really liked the game and I'm sorry I couldn't participate during the final two weeks. I never really aimed for first place; it was mostly about the gaming experience, though I can't deny I did try to gain as many points as possible out of sheer competitiveness.

I got a message from the PM's saying I was a finalist, and to give my details so they could fly me into NY in the case of me winning the whole thing. I answered back saying I couldn't make it. I have been moving house these last two weeks, but even if that hadn't been the case I don't think I would have taken up on their offer. So I let the honor slide to the one next in line.

About the game itself. Even though the level of interaction was very high after Tyler died, the emotional involvement was gone. It all became so technical and with each new episode, I had no idea how I was supposed to figure everything out.

I thought the plot was aimed too much at US players; since I know nothing about the presidential elections, I felt like I was missing out on something. I had to research stuff which I assume US residents are already aware of.

The lack of cooperation between players put me off as well. I remember from the Faith Arella ARG how much fun it was visiting the forum, trading theories, working together to figure it all out. Once "Deleted" really kicked off, it seemed like it was only Colmy and me exchanging messages, and once in a while Yoji, until we didn't even visit the forum ourselves and conversed via e-mail. The game was such an isolated experience, in essence not much better than those online flash games you play when you're bored or something.

Congrats to Emiliaci, of course. She was one hell of a player, a very speedy puzzle solver and I wish I had her skills. And I respect her decisions and method of playing, but we're clearly two very different people so there will always be some level of misunderstanding.

I'll certainly be back for a second season and I wish the PM's find a way to make it a more satisfying ARG experience, whilst keeping the great format.

game review

my review of the game.

Well it had its good points and bad points. ill start off with the bad.

i think the points system made everyone not really work together and so everyone basically became competative and didnt co operate thus making solving just that little harder.

the plot line sucked, it was to skitty, moving from one place to another without really tying up loose ends and the tyler death was really something that not even amatuers dare do because a radicle move like that makes the audience skeptical about the writters. (i am writing from a media studies perspective here and this i saw as your media suicide)

vital info in one clue at the end of a week, this showed the confidence in your clues was weak, the main hint needs spreading out more.

use of specific knowledge. this is a bi product of the lacking co operation as, like in the last week, i only got the answer because i knew specific knowledge but i also know that not everyone would get it.

Lack of hints in the videos, like codes and the sort. Basically what you gave us i saw was oinly about when tyler was and died when she did.

now good points.

its was fun, it was relaxed but a good work out for the mind as well. there was interaction with in game characters but i think that there needed to be more direct contact.

rewarding to ask the right questions. as in when you asked the right questions you got answers but if not you guided us but i still think that if more clues were put in then you would get less questions slightly off topic.

i really cant see many good point but i feel there were more. might think of some later but i think you could get your original audience back if you play season 2 right.

good luck. C
