This is VERY interesting, thanks a lot. I am stuck on the modern piano and cannot get past it. Any ideas?

Arrrrgggghh!! So I can see here, but I cannot see lazylaces from work. I got to the first puzzle, but I dont quite understand what solve means here. Its just a picture, and I cannot derive anything from it via altering the pic. Anyone got a hint about the method to turn a picture of dots into an answer?

He tells you exactly what to do in the last paragraph...
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
put TheFirstDoor/YouWantToFindMe.htm
then proceed from there...

EDIT: Stuck on the freakin' modern piano... Help??

Hello, all.
I'm glad to see people are following my trail again.
As the rules seem to state quite clearly that I may not post here too often, or in fact more than once, I will say this: If you are completely stuck, feel free to send me a private message. Please be aware, under no circumstances will I freely give away an answer, but I am more than happy to give small clues, or pointers in the right direction.

Oh, and remember: You do not need to use photo manipulation software on any of the images. Everything you need is there already. However, I hope you visited the first dead end.

Good luck everyone. Perhaps I will see you at the end.

Bottomless Pit Man,

I hate to be a party-pooper, but I'm having the same trouble as the others and am rapidly losing the will to proceed.

Spoiler (Rollover to View):
TheFirstDoor/YouWishToFindMe.htm (and YouWantToFindMe.htm) does not lead anywhere

Am I typing in something incorrect or has the link been broken, or am I missing something blatantly obvious?

The Modern Piano
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
The 3 constellations are Pegasus, Volans, Cassiopeia

still stuck though
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Typing each one individually just yields "The answer is not just one of the constellations shown, there is more to do."
Typing them in the indicated order yields the dead end.

Really? I thought..
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
...the three constellations are Cassiopeia, Lyra, and Ursa Major. I base this on this chart I found: http://hometown.aol.com/nlpjp/ncir.htm. On the other hand, putting in Lyra and UrsaMajor as the answers get me the dead end, not the more-to-do message. And now that I look again, I actually recognize Pegasus.

So what do we do with the numbers, I wonder?

Also, the long thread at Lazy Laces is frozen. Graeme locked his threads with no views/posts past number 100 due to some technical issues, I think. So for the time being, it looks like here's the place we'll be able to work on this together.

As for the numbers
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
If you string the constellations given above together, there are 23 letters. I tried just the 6 letters indicated (Paansa) and got nothing. Tried atbashing it and got nothing. Tried atbashing with just the 6 letters. Tried the whole thing without the 6 letters, the whole thing with only the 6 atbashed, and the whole thing atbashed without the 6 being atbashed, and got nothing for each try.

On the "The Band Below" level I got the countdown part but what do the arrows mean.

The arrows are just showing a countdown in a different way.

Countdown refers to
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
a song performed by "The Band Below"

Also remember that
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
According to him, "You must remember the answers you give for they are clues to where I am hiding." So, if the answers could be clues, maybe looking for answers that are locations could be helpful.

*Edited to avoid double posting*
More thoughts on the Modern Piano
Spoiler (Rollover to View):
Cassiopeia brings to mind Casio, Volans brings to mind Roland, but Pegasus doesn't remind me of any manufacturers of musical keyboards. Probably not close or pertaining to the answer, just throwing it out there as interesting

Well, I broke down and emailed First Door for a hint. Got a quick reply, which i can post here if you want. Spoilered, of course. It seems we're on the right track with the constellations and their ordering.

Followed a hint and got The Modern Piano. Here's a blatant hint:

We don't usually run words together when we write.
