So, just out of curiosity, those who are going to NYC tonight should have received 'rally coordinates' by now. Where is the general ballpark - Times Square? Penn Station? Empire State?

What really kills me about this is that I was supposed to be working a contract up there, but a certain utility company didn't get off the pot fast enough, and I was assigned elsewhere by my company.

And I don't think there are going to be a lot of ARGs set in Camden anytime soon Wink

Ah, so it *is* like a real recruiter - they promise the world but leave you hanging and treat you like a slightly useful sack of meat they might be able to make use of for their personal gain.

Not that I'm bitter much about the life of a consultant. Not at all Wink

On a more serious note, from a logistical standpoint it's just as well I decided not to participate. I would have had to leave the house about now to get up there in time. I am unsure if the PMs took this into account, or just assumed that they would primarily attract people from NYC

There will probably be a group of us that can't go to the live event, chatting on IRC to provide google support to those going if it's needed. As well as decrypting and anything else that's easier to do when sitting in front of a computer
