I didnt actually think anyone would respond to this, and its amazing that so many of you have.

I am no professional actor, and I didnt take drama, but I hear I am pretty decent.

EDIT: Noooo, I'm not gonna look at that blog stuff! SAVE IT DUDE! I am an artist, of sorts, and I have learned NEVER to throw anything away! If I'm not happy with a painting, or I can't finish it for some reason, I put it in a dark place somewhere and come back to it later.... Erm, I guess I'm saying it's likely to be good, so save it and come back to it when you have the time and resources.

Too bad there isnt a way you could show someone your full idea for your game, then if you dont want them onboard, slip them an e-Rufie, and they forget the entire thing, only occassionally having some dejavu when they play the full game.
This would make for a great way to get a huge team built up, just email your script to everyone with a listing of all positions needed. And send the forget-me-now pill to those who just read it lol.

If that idea could work, I would totally pitch it to 42 Entertainment, and to Aporia CME, and see what they could come up with lol.

the biggest challenge developing was keeping people onboard, and not just lurking. and keeping people to meeting times. also, it was very tough to find people who were the kind of people you were looking for.

a post in 'pm help' looking for actresses gave about 20 people saying how hard it was to find actresses, and the same alternative to posting in pm help, and then 10 posts on how hard it is to make an ARG and I probably wont find anyone to be in it lol.

That was the hardest part about running mine, anyway.

OMFG! I just went back to my old forum, and its not there! Months worth of links, and work, and contacts, and videos, and scripts, all GONE! I am so crushed right now... I was going to go back and back up my data files today since its officially on hold...

I cant believe I didnt think to back it all up earlier

And this was all they had to say:

Ask for your server drive and send it to DriveSavers or something.

They could at least do that - it's only a few hundred bucks and they'd have many more happy people. They've recovered much worse off drives - like rusted, underwater, etc.
