Thanks!

Yeah, I'm seeing that (next to come will be 144, 233, 377...). Has anyone speculated what that means to the Fringe ARG though? I mean, it's a pretty simple pattern and all this "Find the pattern" stuff has to be a little more meaningful unless there will be a way to use these numbers in other ways once this ARG really gets going... Or is this just some pattern they put there because it's easily recognized and it just goes along with the whole "Find the pattern" thing? All the sacred geometry examples in the images are patterns as well and occur regularly in nature, but there's still nothing to do with them in the context of the ARG....

Any thoughts on what sacred geometry and the Fib. Sequence have to do with any of this?

Am I just trying to get too far into this too early in the game?

Just picked this up at Comic-Con, after watching the Fringe premiere. Not a clue necessarily, but ARG-related.

The actual scavenger hunt begins Saturday.

I guess I would be looking for leaves around the convention.

Nice the hunt would be awesome to participate in, were there any noticable changes to the pilot from the leaked version?

I purposely didn't watch the leak, so that I could see for the first time at Comic-Con. When J.J. Abrams introduced it, he didn't mention any changes.

This is definitely an amazing show.

difference

I heard that it had to do with the scoring and the pilot didn't have the complete soundtrack on the leaked version.

Yeah, the leaked pilot used a lot of pre-existing sound and music. Some Lost stuff, as I recall.

I think so, sundown, not that you can be blamed for trying, though! It's just that there's no actual game thread out there at all yet, not that I know of. Once the first clues have been leaked, though, then let the speculation begin!

At the new site http://www.61803398874989484820458683436563811.com (lead to by clicking the ram's horn) there is a quick 'loading page' that includes the following (I have edited the picture to fit properly. The numbers appear in the extreme upper right of screen and the case number appears in the extreme lower left of screen. The red line is mine to differentiate the two graphics)

The numbers map to the following:
43.374491, -92.115121 - Cresco, Iowa
43.404575, -94.833592 - Estherville, Iowa
42.069544, -94.866361 - Carroll, Iowa
42.164144, -92.026077 - Vinton, Iowa

BTW, 61803398874989484820458683436563811 is not a Fibonacci number. Here, http://planetmath.org/encyclopedia/ListOfFibonacciNumbers.html is a list of the Fibonacci numbers up to F500 Wink

EDiT: FWIW, I just broke out my out road atlas and plotted the four cities and they form a rough rectangle. I ran lines from corner to corner and the center of it comes close to Coulter, Iowa.

Interesting clicking next brings you here:

http://www.61803398874989484820458683436563811.com/77203/09179.htm

...which is apparently also in these two locations:

http://www.imaginetheimpossibilities.com/77203/09179.htm
http://whatisthepattern.com/77203/09179.htm

You have to have your cursor centered on the screen to get the video to play cleanly

Yow. OK. So, here are the recent developments that I could spot--please correct me and add on as necessary....

1) imaginetheimpossibilities now redirects to imaginetheimpossibilities.com/77203.htm, where there is the graphic posted with the above Iowa coordinates (thanks, Apopheniac79). These coordinates are labeled with a time and date stamp, "Case_0091: Evidence_0001.... 0711P 170708." If you click from there on "Next," you get to...

2) imaginetheimpossibilities.com/77203/09179.htm, which is a video. The video pauses when you click on it, and fast forwards or rewinds depending on your mouse location. The video seems, labeled "Case_0091:Evidence_0002.... 1200P 250708," seems to be a second piece of evidence in the same case.

What I could not find is a clickable ram's horn, nor could I find anything leading to the 6180339887... site. (Although: The ram's horn in the video does appear to have the first part of that number written on it.) Are those links mentioned above still available? Where were they in the first place?

Sorry if I caused any confusion, was not aware that imaginetheimpossibilities.com now redirects to the case file. If you access http://fox.com/fringe you still get the braille numbered Fringe images. The ram's horn is the fifth image in the set (b#89). Clicking on that you gets you to the case file as well.
Oh, I'm on board with the case file idea Wink

Just so everyone knows, the code in the lower left of the screen is encoded like this:
CASE_####:EVIDENCE_####
12HourTimeA/PM DayMonthYear

So far we have:
CASE_0091:EVIDENCE_0001
0711P 170708
&
CASE_0091:EVIDENCE_0002
1200P 250708

I propose that we Order them like this in the future.
Case_####
    Evidence_#### (time/date)

This would be easier to manage and list. Just use a case number as a heading and the evidence numbers as a list under that.[/2cents]
