theres definitely some backwards talk on there. really the first one is the only one i heard it on. the one about the car sales. and after reading this article the show comes out sept 9th? master quarcks web page the 8th. also in one of messages he mentions " teleporting" and turning into purple goo. his name is "portal to india" so maybe him and his wife can teleport? that would be awesome.

It's the salesman's voice saying "And you know what that means!" (the backwards bit I mean).

cool....did you just use an audio recorder or by ear? im just wondering cause im looking for a good free audio ripper.

 		Well, I'm not very good, but i managed to reverse the first one. When the voiceover says "find the pattern" the salesman's voice is reversed. He says "...and you know what that means..." And before that, much more quietly and i'm less certain of it "Suv pick up an suv"

At the risk of confusing things more I thought I'd throw this out there since someone else inevitably will. www.abramsauto.com redirects here: http://abramsautomotive.com/ Whois comes back to 2006, however they show up in the phone book, so almost certainly OOG. Although it's odd that some of the site is under construction 2 years after it was bought.

Oh, got beat about the reverse thing, oh well. By far the best free audio thing is Audacity, it rocks.

I don't know what professionals may use (if there's like a whole bunch of options that I know nothing about), but I use mp3 my mp3 and it does everything I want it to.

 		According to this news article Fox is planning on spending more money marketing this show than any other scripted show in the past. And they also imply that a JJ Abrams AR G E is a certainty.

To me, that would appear to be a legitimate car dealership. Its probably more likely that they're still under construction because they're either a) lazy or b) they did a recent revamp of their site.

What is interesting though, and I'm sure unrelated, if you look at their search function for their inventory, one of the options in their "Year" dropdown is 6073.

Cars from the future?! Thats one hell of a dealership.

EDIT: HAHA This may be derailing a bit, but if you leave the category blank, MAKE set to "MALE" and leave the year blank, three guys show up in the results. Probably unrelated to this game, but I find it funny none the less.

 		Master Quark has nothing to do with it, Prometheus Corp (and pond.com) have nothing to do with it. abramsauto.com has nothing to do with it.

Now that we've eliminated all of that...

 		"scanner" radio ad
i'm working on bringing out the lower frequency stuff going on underneath the woman's voice on the ad. also- there are two tones that play that sound like two slowed down touch tones. this leads me to believe that by simply speeding up the ad you might be able to hear what's going on at the low end, problem is i don't know how to do this is garageband. halp?

I can't help, i'm at my in-laws don't have access to audacity right now. Maybe degravedi can do it, or if no one else does by the time i get home late tonight i will.
