carelessly.bh.gif

Is definitly a 3d graph of something.

Looks like the infinity symbol (Forever - Not the Car Manufacurer)

"I can see you Forever"

"I can see you in the Matrix forever."

"I can see you in the Loop."

Loop is the name of the train in the Revolutions trailer.

If we stick with the hacker meeting theory, the 3d graph could represent the handle of the hacker, and he's telling the others that he has arrived

Looks like a Lorenz Strange Attractor:
http://mathworld.wolfram.com/LorenzAttractor.html (wait for the Java applet to load and you'll see)

Who knows whether that is relevant.

Here is a dictionary definition of "vortex":
vortex
n 1: the shape of something rotating rapidly [syn: whirl, swirl,
convolution]
2: a powerful circular current of water (usually the resulting
of conflicting tides) [syn: whirlpool, maelstrom]

Taken from http://dict.die.net/vortex/

I think it's relevant - looks like [almost] the same thing.

In the swf file, its dimensions are 550 x 400, it centers the movie in the middle of a giant white canvas, this is uncessary, anyone tried searching for something hidden in the white area of the flash movie?

The BH extension is associated with the "BlackHole Archive Format File "

Interesting.

If any one wants to search for that melody, you can try this search engine... I have no idea how to work it though..

thats probably where they got it, but i dont think it seems relevant for some reason, i could be wrong though. heres what i found about CAH (since its not a word) on dictionary.com. it referenced me to acronym finder. probably not of much help, but anyway...

CAH Capture and Hold
CAH Carbonic Anhydrase
CAH Coalition for Animal Health
CAH Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia
CAH Contact Action History
CAH Cosine of Angle X = Adjacent Side Length / Hypotenuse Side Length (Right Angled Triangle)

i have a feeling that cah will lead us to something...

Holy cow, you're right! How did you guess that? What kind of file typically has the extension ".mic?"

Yikes, guess I've missed a few things since late last night....

.mic is an extension for Microsoft Image Composer - a graphics-program-for-dummies (like me) that's bundled with Microsoft Front Page. I'm probably the only person in the world who uses it.

"I CAH SEE YOU" in carelessly.bh - it strikes me that an 'N' in the Russian alphabet looks like an English 'H' - maybe a clue as to the identity of the person we're being introduced to? In fact, the whole word - CAH - would be something in Russian - SAN (Russian 'C' = English 'S', A is the same). Not that we've seen any hint of Russians in this yet.

too much stuff to digest, and I have to work today. Argh. Good luck, folks.

p.s. Since there will be another five replies by the time I get done typing this....

Maybe this is the owner of the Cascade Vortex coming to visit?? Or again, Beth?

I think I found the source of the lorenz attractor image

http://www-eco.enst-bretagne.fr/~phan/complexe/lorenz.htm

EDIT: and this site uses a variation of it too

I think 'CAH' is the wrong way to go; if you look at all the letters in the message, none are more than three pixels wide. I can't think of a way to create an 'N' three pixels wide which wouldn't also look like an 'H'.

In other words, I don't think it's a spelling mistake, although that doesn't mean it's not a clue.
