That does look exactly like it. Wonder if "Lorenz" is a clue

The Lorenz Strange Attractor is a kind of vortex... CascadeVortex?
Is that were we should start looking?

If we stick with the hacker meeting theory, the 3d graph could represent the handle of the hacker, and he's telling the others that he has arrived

And each of the hackers has responded to the original question.

caesar said "I See, and you?"

The guy with the flag used a 1 cent stamp (I C)

The Whoa guy used the "cosy and clean" observations

Texel used a googlism which looks things up on google

Also. the letters are "spotted"

Graffle - hhhm, theory starting to fall apart Embarassed

But anyway the last one fits.

** takes his half-ass theory and skulks away Embarassed **

Zebra: I think the both images arrive from the same source, not neccesarily our image arrive from your found lorenz image, since our image is sharper then the one present on that webpage. Perhaps contacting the author of that website asking where he got that lorenz image from? =)

New File

I just brute forced a new one...

carelessly.m_u

It's actually a WAV file of someone talking. It sounds like this:

"Ok, I'm in now. Count me down. Yo."

Sounds like a computerized voice...

Not that we're not buried up to our ears in clues, but I can't help but notice the similarities between the flashing strings of code in the screensaver and the intro flash and Lorenz' derivatives. I've been waiting for some math to make sense out of those strings...

I think the last word might be "go"

And in case it matters it's 16-Bit 16,000 Hz, Mono

I'm not sure I speak his language Smile

I agree though, these probably aren't the sources. The colors are off a bit, and so is the dimensions of the image (they're different ratios). But at least we can verify what it is.

I don't think they are related. The .x .y .z extensions of a variable are widespreadly used to express the position at a single axis of a 3d point,
on the other hand at the source code we see an algorithm to "step by", which makes me think that it is referring to integer values (on a grid or something), not floating point values (the way 3d calculations are done).
