This might be a bit of a stretch, but does anyone see a similarity between the red cent sign in carelessly.jpg.jpg and the "@" in the bobby picture?

Here are the zero-looking shapes in "ALSO" isolated on the top left. If you blow it up, you can see that the widths of the walls (of the zeros themselves) are always 1 pixel. Oh, I had to color it a little.

It seems very odd (and potentially important) to me that the shapes are not all the same... hmmm....

As someone already stated, the 'Texel is annoying' bit has been replaced with 'Texel is here', and the page that 'Texel is annoying' originates from is a book review of the French book Cosmétique de l'ennemi by Amélie Nothomb. It features a guy called Textor Texel, and there's some pretty odd stuff regarding him in the book:

But Texel -- a word-weaver, as his unusual names suggests -- won't be stopped, and he does, in fact, have an unusual life-story to recount. He killed someone, for example -- or at least he felt like he did, when he was eight and prayed that a classmate would die and he found out the next day that the boy had, indeed, died.

I'm cross-referencing this with anything on Beth's archives atm...

While this is a very good find, I have doubts about it since it's not affiliated with Underscore.

Don't discount the significance of the 'annoying' line so quickly.

Remember how the carelessly.* files were discovered.

They are also not aligned in any apparent pattern. They seem to be randomly placed on the pic.

Good point, but that one relied on a work hundreds of years old. This info is availiable on a single web site. It could just be a googlisism glitch. I'm not saying it's impossible, but I think it needs to be taken with a good chunk of salt.

The stamp picture is a bit odd, the 'mountain' appears to be a highly distorted map of most of the earth... the greenish areas seem to follow N and S America, Africa, and Eurasia, with the white area being the polar cap? The right side of the mountain caught my eye, the Saudi Arabian peninsula is pretty clear and undistorted. What to make of this I'm not sure...

this is one of the weirdest stretches of imagination i've seen yet

Actually, I see where Dibo gets this. Might have just been unconsciously done by the original artist... Hell, I can see faces in there, a dog, all sorts of stuff. I've stopped looking for stuff like that.

It's most likely a jpg artifact, but the rectangle on "north america" in the stamp image looks funny to me.

Oh... my... god

Ok, look at that image where I isolated the zeros. Like I said, the walls are always 1 pixel wide. Put them together: you get 3D shapes - texels?? Even the ones that are missing the corners (last one in the row) - they would go on top of a 4-walled "cube" (forgot how that shape is called - rectangular cube?), but recessed. The smaller ones that are not missing corners would go directly on top of that "cube"

Are we supposed to put them together?

Hmm, I wonder if the word "spot" means anything. It's mentioned in both the "whoa" text and the stamp jpg.

Yeah, and if are supposed to put these texels together, it would definitely be ANNOYING, lol... Need 3D software, I think. Plus it's hard to count exactly how many there are.
