 		Just caught up and signed up. (I'm not even a citizen lol)

Can someone rip the swf and see what was programmed into the movie so we can find out what to do with the picture in the blackout page?

it would be much appreciated.

 		A group over at NeoGAF are following the ARG as well, and they've made a few interesting discoveries:

- Hitting tab on the blackout page surrounds the picture with a yellow border.
- The table on the blackout page appears to be mirrored along a line running vertically through the brown stain (the stain itself is not mirrored, though).
- There is a possible sighting of a "26" inscribed on the table.

I think the 26 is just a byproduct of the mirroring, but could be something. Check their thread for more on their analysis of the pages so far.

Yep. I started the thread over there. Very Happy I'm trying to keep the original post as up to date as possible.

Looked at the flash code: the blackout page is nothing more than an image that can be moved (and it blurs on occasion). Dead end!

 		Glad I got here when I did. Hopefully this is just the tip of the iceberg. Lets hope this isnt just plain out "Buy Teh Resistance"

I dont have much more to say now that hasnt already been said other then this tidbit.


As you can see she is wearing a T-Shirt with the "United States Army Rangers 1st Regiment" logo. This probably means she serves, just no on the frontlines. Also, on the left side you see a shot of a poster similar to the ones on Getawarjob.com and GamePro posters.

Also

He's wearing the same patch. They work with each other so she cant be just some random person.

 		Just got wind of this and signed up - stated my interest as 'Aviation' (since I love flying and didn't want to be as noncomittal as to say 'No Preference').

What tools did you guys use to translate the morse code in the video? Or was it just old fashioned listen-write down-translate?

p.s. thebruce - stumbled onto this game after following your link from HETFET to argn.com, looking for the interview with Matt and Tania - how's that coming? Smile

...those people may be the other seven. does the Story in Gamepro give the name of the platoon?

Or, How many people were in the photo in Hale's locker in the first Resistance?

maybe the hands make a phone number according to the digits sticking out?

There's also a smudge in the corner that looks kinda like a face inside of the window.

To my knowledge, I've done all of the Morse Code work so far. To find Blackout I recorded the message in Adobe Audition, slowed it down, and the audio pattern visually compared to Morse Code. I transcribed and translated it into Blackout.

I find this line of thought to be interesting... A lead worth pursuing perhaps...?
