Clue/glitch/error @ Little-boxes archive?

While reading through the little-boxes archives I noticed that both Beth and Phillip filed a practically identical story about an unidentified metallic craft over Europe.

The two major differences are the file #'s (47 & 61) and the second story (by Beth) has the actual date.

A clue? an error? another glitch?

There have been a lot of people looking through LB so I'm surprised no one has mentioned this yet (and I did do a search)...perhaps no one else thought it was interesting enough...

(and yes this one was mentioned before, it was me, but it's related so...)

File 51 is a duplicate of 53 without the location. However this could just indicate a file was updated and the old one deleted since it's not listed in the index.
