[City Labyrinth] Vienna, Austria

Is there someone from Austria?

I think it will be difficult to find somone for Vienna in the next weeks, because there will be the European Championship on Soccer. So there may be a lot of poeple in Vienna, but they probably won't do labyrinth running.

On the other side, I would immediately drive to Vienna and do a Labyrinth, if McDonalds would give me one of those nice free tickets for one of the German soccer matches Smile

^I know how you feel! I blame TheO (double-agents not included Wink)
Maybe you can drag along passerbys who's jogging? I think I'm going to try that in here.

Why do we always get the blame ? Our only activities so far have been growing flowers, bring peace to the world and be duct-taped Smile

From Jane McGonigal's blog:

Quote:

By the way -- I'll be in New York City, London, and Vienna in the next month running Lost Sport games and other alternate reality fun, among other things. If you're in any of those cities, please come out to play: NYC, Saturday June 7 in Central Park @ 4:30 PM or London, Sunday June 29th around the Southbank Center @ 3:00 PM, or Vienna, Saturda July 5 at a TBD location! (email me or comment if you're in Vienna and want to play)

I don't know what calculations Vienna might have used...
But I'll give it a try.

It looks like a 4 circuit labyrinth, but I'm going to dock them for the un-evenness of it.
So, I'll call it 3 circuits.

Using
http://www.daftlogic.com/projects-google-maps-distance-calculator.htm
and finding the neighborhood in Vienna, I see .932 km from corner to corner.
Or 5 Stadia.

So 3 * 5 / 6 = 2.5 Omph Strength.
Well done!

Jane McGonigal has pictures on her Flickr of her doing the Vienna omphalabyrinth...and she's not allowed to post here, 'cuz she's the puppetmaster of the game...so just go with whatever you guys calculate.
