No surprise but I'd love one based on Neil Gaiman's Sandman or American Gods
Oddly enough I actually have an idea for an ARG rolling around in my head that's "inspired by" Sandman. I just have to figure some logistics out like, how the internet plays into the storyline.
I'd love to hear about it.

I think you just ruined my day. That can't end well.
Yeah, sorry about that. It's looking like it'll be pretty dire - more details here . The only thing I'm cheerful about regarding this is the potential for a good ARG campaign out of it.

Didn't you know Unfiction is the Collective Sherlock Holmes?
With all the puzzles you loons do, I shouldn't be surprised.
But surely the collective could have an ARG based on its semi-historical self??? Never mind, that makes no sense.

I wish that I could see an ARG do something that pertains to the southern part of the USA... I always wanna go and do drops and also seek out any clues that I can get to.... but not if it is in California
I just really want us to be included

Warren Ellis's Global Frequency . Honestly, don't know why I didn't think of it before.
From what I hear the Joker phones did something very close.

Battlestar Galactica. If its been mentioned, I want to second the idea.
Also, I thought there was some sort of Dr. Who ARG run in England. I remember hearing a talk about it at the Come Out and Play conference here in New York last summer. I don't recall the extent of it, but it sounded pretty good with the idea of motivating the locals who would live in similar parts of town as Rose or the other companions into seeing themselves as heroic people who can make a difference in their world. I'll try to see if that talk was recorded anywhere.

There was a Torchwood extended reality earlier this year.

An LHC ARG would be cool. Probably already been started, but if it hasn't, then yeah.

Project ophiuchus had a lot of LHC elements to it. A sequel may be starting up soon.

Oh god, I second this one. I am obessed over the LHC. Something doomsday-ish would be really fun, although it would probably give the LHC an even worse reputation among the people who think its really going to destory the earth.
A batman ARG would also be cool.

Firefly, of course. As long as I get to help make it. Or at least play it constantly. :p

I wonder how you could pull off an XKCD ARG? Hide a clue in one of the comics, I would guess.

someone in IRC: see, sometimes instead of a man and woman loving each other, men and men love each other. this usually happens in prison, but sometimes in real life
